| In the first half of 2019,the United Nations analyzed six dimensions of data from 156 countries and regions, scored comprehensive happiness index scores, and published the World Happiness Index Report 2019.In this year’s ranking,Finland ranks first among 156 countries and regions. In this year’s ranking, the Nordic countries are still at the top.Finland ranked first, followed by Denmark,Norway,Iceland and the Netherlands. The Global Happiness Index report has been published since 2012 and is published annually. It has been recognized by governments, institutions and social groups all over the world. This report is based on the per capita gross domestic product(GDP),healthy life expectancy, living standards, national inner well-being,freedom of life choices, social integrity and generosity, and other factors to study and draw the results. In this year’s ranking,Finland ranks first among 156 countries and regions. The top ten are Finland,Denmark,Norway,Iceland, the Netherlands,Switzerland,Sweden,New Zealand,Canada and Austria. Most of them are Nordic countries,high-income economies. The top ten categories are Haiti,Botswana,Syria,Malawi,Yemen,Rwanda,Tanzania,Afghanistan, the Central African Republic and southern Sultan: mostly African countries, low income economies.China dropped from 86 to 93.Today,with China’s economic development and growth, why does the happiness of Chinese residents decrease? In answering the question of "China Dream",Comrade Xi Jinping pointed out that it is very important to make the people happy to realize the rejuvenation of the nation. Therefore,I decided that the research direction of this paper is happiness, and income is one of the important variables in economics. Finally,I combined income with happiness to study the impact of income on residents’ happiness. On the basis of the research status of subjective well-being of residents at home and abroad, this paper reviews the related theories and mechanisms of income’s influence on well-being,points out the advantages and disadvantages of existing literature research, and uses the statistical data of Chinese General Social Servey(CGSS)in 2015,through stata15.The software processes the statistical data, and makes regression analysis by using OLS model,Gologit model and Ordered Probit model. The following arguments are derived:Conclusion 1: under the condition of without considering the relative income, absolute income has a significant positive effect on residents’ subjective well-being.And with the increase of absolute income, the residents’ subjective well-being of ascension will be more and more weak, but without a negative correlation between income and residents’ subjective well-being.Conclusion 2: the influence degree of the relative income of residents’ happiness more than absolute income to the influence degree of the residents’ well-being,and relative income affect residents’ subjective well-being showed a trend of diminishing marginal utility, but not negatively correlated. Conclusion 3: men and women in the absolute income of residents some differences on the impact of subjective well-being,the male absolute income, the higher the strength of their subjective well-being,is there no necessary relation between the absolute income and subjective well-being of women;Relative to income’s influence on residents’ subjective well-being have no differences in gender,i.e.the higher the relative to income, the stronger the residents’ subjective well-being.In addition, this paper also elaborates the interaction between diversity variables and subjective well-being.The results show that there is not a simple linear relationship between age level and subjective well-being.Marriage has a relatively significant effect on the subjective well-being of the masses.Educational background has a significant positive impact on residents’ subjective well-being.The household registration and working hours had no significant effect on residents’ subjective well-being.Health has a significant positive impact on residents’ subjective well-being,indicating that health level is a basic need of people and also a necessary need. The better the health level, the stronger the residents’ subjective well-being.Finally,the full text is summarized, and a number of targeted policy recommendations are put forward. |
