In recent years,in various parts of our country,parents often gather to block schools,attack and abuse school staff.Parents gather to make troubles.Their unreasonable behavior seriously interfere with the normal learning life of students and disrupted the normal teaching order of the school,resulting in serious adverse consequences.The school dispute has caused many school administration and education training institutions to fear.Many schools have eliminated or reduced normal teaching activities that might be at risk.On the one hand,we accuse parents' unreasonable behavior and we also accuse them of shielding their own children's shortcomings or faults.We accuse parents of being unreasonable and objective.On the other hand,if we think carefully,we will find that something hidden behind the school troubles itself is parents who do not understand our school management.Let parents participate in school management and let parents understand the school management activities.Those are a good prescription to solve the school troubles.Therefore,the author chooses parents to participate in school management to carry out the research,hoping to provide a little theoretical and practical meagre force for the thorough solution of school troubles.With the advancement of education reform,parents' participation in school management has attracted more and more attention in the process of education reform.In recent years,more and more scholars in China have paid attention to parents' participation in school management.They have conducted many beneficial explorations and achieved remarkable results.Especially,since the end of 1990 s,Zhucheng,Shandong province,has been actively promoting the experiments and researches of parents' participation in school management.And its research results have had a significant impact on the whole country and have been widely recognized by all sectors of society.Therefore,this study takes three representative rural junior middle schools in Zhucheng,Shandong province as research objects,understands the current situation of rural junior middle school parents' participation in school management,analyzes the existing problems,and puts forward practical and targeted solutions.Taking three rural junior middle schools in Zhucheng,Shandong province as an example,this study conducted a questionnaire survey on the parents and teachers of rural junior middle school students,and conducted an interview survey on the middle and senior school leaders,ordinary teachers and parents of students.We analyze the time and frequency of parents' participation in school management of junior middle school students in rural areas,and whether parents' participation in school management is included in teachers' performance appraisal.It is found that there are still many problems for parents' participation in school management of junior middle school students in rural areas.Firstly,parents' participation in school management time is not fixed.Parents participation in school management is low participation frequency and lack of enthusiasm and initiative.Secondly,parents' participation in school management is one-sided.Parents attach great importance to academic performance,seldom understand and supervise school running,seldom participate in activities organized by the school,and rarely participate in high-level school management.Thirdly,parents participate in school management is in a single way.The reasons are as follows: first,more parents go out to work which causes more students are left behind;Second,teachers' work hours are very long,so they have to cater to parents' pleasure to participate in school management.Third,the school did not include parents' participation in school management in the performance appraisal.In view of the above problems,the corresponding countermeasures are proposed as follows: first,time should be fixed when parents participate in school management and the number and frequency of parents to participate in school management should be improved;Second,the contents of parents' participation in school management should be enriched.Third,the forms of parents' participation in school management should be diversified.Fourth,schools should incorporate parents' participation in school management into teachers performance appraisal.
