As a part of Chinese teaching in primary school,reading teaching has always been a key and difficult point in teaching.Reading ability is an important part of cultivating the low-level students' good Chinese literacy in primary school.It is very difficult for students to concentrate for a long time.Compared with adults,children's knowledge reserve is very small,their thinking mode is mainly intuitive,and their life experience is obviously deficient.All of the above factors make teachers encounter the problems of low teaching efficiency and difficult to improve students' reading ability.Combined with the author's long-term literature collection,collation and investigation practice,it is found that picture book reading is an effective tool to help primary school students improve their reading ability.In 1992,Birmingham,UK launched the world's first book program for children Start activity,the total number of infants participating in the activity was 300,the age was between 7 months and 9months.The research results showed that: this group of infants who started reading with picture books from their infancy were significantly better than the children of the same age in learning ability and academic performance after school.This shows the importance of picture book and picture book reading for children of lower age.Based on the above analysis,the author makes an in-depth investigation on the low-level picture book reading in primary school,analyzes the existing problems and the causes of the problems in the current stage of picture book reading in primary school,and puts forward the corresponding improvement plan.The full text is divided into six parts.The first part,introduction.Based on the requirements of the new curriculum standard and the characteristics of students' physical and mental development,this paper expounds the research background and significance of picture book reading teaching in primary school,summarizes the research summary of picture book reading teaching at home and abroad,and conceptually defines the definitions of "primary school low section","picture book teaching" and "picture book reading teaching".The second part expounds the significance of picture book reading teaching in primary school,which proves the necessity and feasibility of picture book reading teaching in primary school.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of theteaching of picture book reading in primary school.Through the analysis of the questionnaire survey and interview results of teachers and students,we can find the problems in the teaching of low-level picture book reading in primary schools,and find out the causes of the problems.The fourth part is the research on the guiding strategies of low picture book reading teaching in primary school.In view of the actual situation of picture book reading teaching for low-level students in primary schools,this paper puts forward the corresponding feasible strategies.The fifth part,the elementary school low paragraph picture book reading instruction teaching case and the analysis,will study the theory and the practice union.The sixth part is the conclusion.
