With the rapid development of science and technology today,technology has become an indispensable part of life,and competition in various countries has become "core technology competition" and "talent competition." How to train technical talents for the country and how to help learners adapt to future changes in the technology society has become a major issue facing education.In the process,the educational value of general technology courses gradually became prominent.As a young discipline,"what to teach" and "how to teach" are the primary issues for curriculum development,and "project-based learning" is a form of curriculum organization that is more in line with the characteristics of general technology courses.So it is necessary to carry out research on relevant content of technology course project teaching.In domestic related research,most of them focus on the ontology research of generic technical curriculum project-based learning,and less research can carry out relevant practical research on the implementation of generic technical curriculum project-based learning.Therefore,according to the current teaching status of generic technical curriculum,this article will focus on improving student engagement in generic technical curriculum project-based learning.This article mainly adopts the research paradigm of action research,combines interview research,questionnaire survey,literature research,observation method and other research methods,and uses A high school as an example to carry out research on the teaching of generic technical curriculum.The whole research process is divided into three rounds.The first round of action research is the trial and exploration stage of the whole action research.It improves the students' behavioral engagement by clarifying task division,setting up open tasks,and forcing exchange tasks.The second round of action research is the stage of adjustment and improvement of the entire research process.Through the use of task lists,students' cognitive engagement is enhanced.The third round of action research is the stage of promotion and improvement of the entire research process.By using "learning files" to help students develop positive emotions in the curriculum and project-based learning.Research shows that after three rounds of action research,the overall student engagement in the experimental class has been greatly improved,both in behavioral engagement,cognitive engagement,and emotional engagement.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)In the process of carrying out the teaching of generic technical curriculum,it is necessary to pay attention to the improvement of student engagement.(2)In terms of behavioral engagement,students need to provide opportunities for cooperation in the process of completing project tasks.(3)In terms of cognitive engagement,guide students to use cognitive strategies in the process of completing projects.(4)In terms of emotional engagement,guide students to pay attention to the process of project completion.The innovations of this research include:(1)Aiming at the problems faced by the A high school general technology curriculum teaching,the perspective of student engagement is put forward,and methods to improve the general technology curriculum teaching student participation are proposed.The peers of the practice and research related to the technical courses provide a model that can be imitated and used for reference.(2)Analyze the reasons for the low engagement of students in A high school's teaching of generic technical curriculum,and provide references for general technical teachers in other disciplines and other schools to facilitate the self-examination of teachers.(3)The "Survey Questionnaire for Student Engagement in Generic Technical Curriculum Project-baser Learning" was constructed strictly and standardized,and the flexible internal dynamic adjustment function of this scale was fully utilized in practice,which can truly reflect the student engagement in the project-based learning.For the teaching of generic technical curriculum,research tools are enriched,which is helpful for researchers who care about and pay attention to the teaching research of general technology courses to carry out relevant research?...
