Local geography teaching resources are the condensation and sublimation of geographical things around students.The rational use of local geography teaching resources can promote the improvement of students’ learning ability and geographical quality,as well as the improvement of teachers’ ability,and inject new vitality into the economic development of hometown.Therefore,local geography teaching resources are the best choice for high school geography teaching.Of agrestic geography through literature review and questionnaire analysis of relevant concepts,theoretical basis,application status,etc,and integrating the natural and human geographical elements of Weifang,and link with textbook knowledge,the analysis can be used in the high school geography classroom agrestic geography teaching resources.Taking the high school geography teaching in Weifang,Shandong as the research object,the questionnaire survey was conducted on the application of local geography teaching resources among high school students and geography teachers in Weifang,and the following problems were found in the application process of local geography teaching resources in Weifang :1.The school’s insufficient support for the application of local geography teaching resources includes three aspects :(1)the school organizes too few geographical practice activities;(2)the school geography curriculum has little relation with life;(3)the school lacks unified local geography teaching resources;2.Teachers have problems in the application of local geography teaching resources,including three aspects :(1)teachers are not active in exploring local geography teaching resources;(2)the frequency of teachers applying local geography teaching resources in class is low;(3)the teachers’ understanding of local geography is not comprehensive;3.Students have problems in learning local geography,which include three aspects :(1)students pay less attention to geographical phenomena around them;(2)students are weak in transferring and applying local geography knowledge;(3)students’ participation is not high in the classroom where local geography teaching resources are applied.Based on the analysis of the problems and the causes,this paper puts forward the application strategies for the teaching resources of local geography in Weifang.There are three levels of application strategies,one is to increase the support of the school;two,teachers should increase their action support;three,teachers should design classroom teaching reasonably.Finally,the author designs a case of the application of local geography teaching resources to provide guidance for geography teaching in senior high schools.
