As an important part of teaching,assignment correction is of great significance to both teachers and students.However,the current research on assignment correction in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is scarce.The survey also found that traditional assignment correction methods have limitations in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In order to improve the assignment correction method,this article attempts to apply “None-correcting homework for teachers” to teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In order to test the effectiveness of “None-correcting homework for teachers” in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,this paper adopts a comparative experiment method,supplemented by questionnaire survey and interview method to conduct a teaching experiment in Thai middle school where the author teaches.Before implementing the comparative experiment,the author used a questionnaire survey to understand the views of Chinese teachers and students on homework and assignment correction,and designed a comparative experiment by summarizing and analyzing the results of the questionnaire.The author took two classes in the Thai middle school he taught as the experimental objects,and set them as experimental group and control group respectively.Using different assignment correction methods,the experimental objects were tested many times in the eight-week teaching experiment.Through the analysis of the experimental results,compared with the “all assignment corrections”,the “None-correcting homework for teachers” method not only effectively improves the student's academic performance,but also greatly helps the cultivation of the student's learning ability.Students' attitude and confidence in learning have all been changed positively.However,there are still some problems in the application of “zero assignment correction” in Chinese teaching at this stage,such as the target audience,the type of homework and the evaluation method for students,which need to be further studied.
