Homework, as an extension of class-learning, is an important part of mathematicsinstruction. Doing homework is not only the practice to feedback information to and controlthe process of teaching, but also the educational process in which students independently useand personally experience knowledge and skills under the guidance of teacher. Thuseffective correcting and comment on mathematical homework can make both teacher andstudents receive right information promptly and accelerate the speed of information feedback.In fact, most of teachers cost a lot of time to correct all of students’ homework. Onlywhen teachers liberate from the heavy work, they could have more energy and time to studystudents, teaching materials, learning methods and teaching methods. Moreover, commentinghomework is mainly teacher’s one-man show. The single teaching mode gradually stranglesthe students’ enthusiasm for learning mathematics. Therefore, the research themes of thispaper is to explore various issues in teacher’s work of correcting and commenting on students’homework in junior mid-school,and find some strategies to improve the efficiency of theirwork.This paper takes the theory of constructivism, meta-cognition, zone of proximaldevelopment and cognitive diagnostic as foundation and adopts questionnaire survey,literature reading, combined with years of teaching experience in junior, high school.The survey found many problems in teacher’s correcting and commenting students’homework in junior middle school. The cause of these problems is that teachers do the workin the traditional concept. Aiming at these problems, this paper offers some effectivestrategies in order to change the status. These strategies are: Giving the right of correctinghomework back to students, carefully correcting homework, Using especial symbols andMarking in comments, etc. Also, this paper offers4measures corresponding aim to improvethe effective teaching designs on concept topic, principle topic, basic skill topic and problemsolving topic.
