Picture book,as an important reading text mainly for kindergartens,has gradually become a kind of reading resource to promote early grades of primary school both in-class and out-of-class.Picture book reading promotes the cultivation of students multiple intelligences and improve students' core Chinese literacy in addition to achieving Chinese reading teaching goals.This paper focuses on the core issue of the influence of parent-child reading of picture book on the cultivation of core Chinese literacy in the lower grade of primary school.Taking the situation of junior students' and authors' child of parent-child reading of picture books of 5 primary schools in Changsha as the research object,through the questionnaire survey and analysis of the three aspects of the students,parents and teachers in the lower grade of primary school.Through the investigation of parent-child picture book reading,this paper raise five main problems in the implementation of parent-child picture book reading: low interest in picture book reading;The theme range of picture book reading is not wide;lack of good picture book reading habits;lack of good picture book reading environment;The quality of parent-child reading of picture books is not high.This paper holds that the parent-child reading of picture books has a positive impact on the cultivation of core Chinese literacy in the lower grades of primary schools,such as nurturing reading interest and inspiring the readers,developing good reading habits,improving reading comprehension ability,providing pleasant reading experience,improving aesthetic experience,cultivating aesthetic interest,cultivating aesthetic interest,cultivating interest in writing,enriching the subject matter of writing,developing writing skills,improving oral expression ability,developing imagination,cultivating the ability of observation and promoting independent thinking ability development.Finally,this paper puts forward the strategies for teachers to promote the parent-child picture book reading to cultivate junior students' core Chinese literacy in primary school : the strategies for the cultivation of reading interest;the strategies for the cultivation of good reading habits;the strategies for the cultivation of reading skills,thinking ability,aesthetic quality,writing skills and oral expression ability.
