With the continuous development of t he teachers' construction,the quality of teachers' working life has gradually attracted widespread attention.Carrying out research on the quality of teachers' working life is an objective requirement for strengthening the construction of teachers,an urg ent need to promote educational reform and improve the quality of education and is the teacher 's internal demand to improve the quality of life.Based on the nationally representative sample and data of China Education Panel Survey and combined the relevan t research of teachers' quality of working life,this article analyzes the quality of working life of junior high school teachers and constructs the evaluation dimensions,namely job satisfaction,colleague relations,burnout,salary satisfaction,job pres sure,job honor,professional identity,and school management and conditions.Besides,this paper explores whether there are differences in the eight dimensions in terms of gender,teaching age,education,title,position and so on.Based on the analysis o f the existing problems,it puts forward suggestions to improve the quality of working life of junior high school teachers.The survey results show that the quality of working life of junior high school teachers is at a medium level and the teachers' satisfaction in different dimensions of the quality of working life is different.There are certain differences in gender,education,and teaching age among various dimensions.The quality of working life of surveyed male teachers is lower than that of female teachers.The quality of working life of teachers with technical degrees and with 11 to 15 teaching ages is low.The surveyed teachers generally have low salary satisfaction,heavy work load,high work pressure and little participation in school management.According to the existing problems,this article puts forward some suggestions.The society should try to improve the professional attractiveness of teachers,gradually implement the improvement of teachers' wages.The ministry of education should reduce the work pressure and load of teachers in junior high schools.The schools can encourage teachers to participate in the democratic management,and promote schools' management and condition level.In addition,from the perspective of teachers themselves,they can improve their professional identity and establish good educational values.Moreover,we should pay attentio n to the quality of working life of specific teacher groups.This research can supplement the relevant research on the quality of working li fe of junior high school teachers.It has certain theoretical and practical significance but also has some shortcomings.Such as,the evaluation dimension can be further improved and the research methods can be more diversified.
