With the deepening reform of higher education,colleges and universities teaching idea and teaching guiding ideology changing,and the form of teaching activities and methods are constantly changing,sports as an integral part of the education,aims to cultivate students how to improve physical quality,keep exercise habits,so how to improve college PE teaching quality in order to achieve the teaching goal has become a top priority.In order to comply with the trend of education reform and development,sports "classroom" is changing,all kinds of teaching experiment and pilot emerge in endlessly,in spite of this,the large scale in colleges and universities still adopt the conventional teaching method,it is undeniable that the conventional teaching method can accomplish the teaching goal,but in some subjects,teaching modules,initiative the weaker students in the teaching process,which leads to the present public colleges and universities sports curriculum teaching effect is not very ideal,unable to better realize the curriculum implementation to achieve the effect,and constructivism teaching thought laid a theoretical basis for solving this problem.Exploratory teaching method is an important teaching method based on constructivism theory.Auxiliary its through the guidance of teachers,teaching resources,students take the initiative to generation into the corresponding scene,on the knowledge architecture of autonomous exploration,find problems,to think and solve problems,and skilled master from independent exploration to solve the problem that a complete closed loop of specific methods and steps,from the root of learning content,objective explore its essential attribute,starting from the root,according to the problem of development of the cause and the internal problems and because of the problem and the connection between the derivative of the related problems,look for patterns,form the concept,establish self cognitive architecture model and learning method.The exploratory teaching method can greatly stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning,enable them to play freely as the subject of learning,and constantly improve their personal ability in solving problems.This study through the exploratory teaching method in university public sports volleyball spiking technique of teaching experiment,the exploratory teaching method relative to the conventional teaching method is more beneficial to the improvement of the students' spiking technique level,is conducive to the cultivation of students' exercise habits,and self discovery and solve,acquisition of exploratory learning ability strengthen.By means of this method,we can effectively change the dominant position of teacher-led acquisition in actual teaching activities,give full play to students' enthusiasm andautonomy in teaching activities,and train students' learning ability and exercise habits.Through the application of explorative teaching in college physical education curriculum,it promotes the improvement of college physical education curriculum and promotes the reform of the present situation of college physical education teaching.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and teaching experiment,and takes two public physical education classes of class 2018 in ningxia university as the research objects to conduct teaching experiments.Through the comparative study of the conventional teaching method and the exploratory teaching method,the physical quality,volleyball spiking technique,study habit and sports interest of the experimental class and the control class were analyzed,and the results of the experimental class were found to be significantly better than those of the control class.Through the teaching experiment,it is proved that the exploratory teaching method can effectively promote the improvement of students' various technical levels,and in the actual teaching,the students' initiative in learning is improved,and the exercise habit is kept good.Therefore,as far as the teaching experiment is concerned,the exploratory teaching method is a more suitable and effective teaching method in the spiking teaching module of college public sports volleyball course.
