Research objective: Sports participation motivation is the internal psychological motivation that guides students to do sports learning and exercise.The motivation that determine their performance in doing sports activities.What's more,it has important significance for them to participate in sports.This paper studies students' sports participation motivation and influence factors of the rural schools in Qinxian,which discusses how to arouse the motivation of students to participate in doing sports.It also cultivates their consciousness of participation in sports for a long period of time and develop their good habits of doing physical exercise.The most important thing is that it provides theoretical basis for ensuring the physical and mental health development of students in rural schools of Qinxian.This article uses the literature material law,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics,logic analysis and interviewing method to diagnoses.The survey was conducted among 820 middle school students of five rural schools in Qinxian,Shanxi Province.The sports participation motivation level of middle school students was tested by the sports motivation scale,which produces students' participation of doing sport motivation level.The results show that:(1)There are significant differences between male and female middle school students in sports motivation level in rural areas of Qinxian,Shanxi Province;(2)There are significant differences in the cross-sectional comparison of sports motivation of different grades in rural areas;(3)There are significant differences between male and female middle school students in different dimensions of internal motivation level and external motivation level in rural areas;(4)There is no significant difference between different grades of middle school students in rural areas on the levels of internal motivation,external motivation and no motivation.The conclusion of this study is drawn from the analysis of the above results:(1)The internal motivation level and external motivation level of male students in rural areas are higher than that of female students.(2)The internal motivation level of each grade in rural areas is higher than the external motivation level.(3)Boys in rural areas have higher levels of learning motivation,achievement motivation,stimulation experience,internalization regulation,identity regulation and external regulation than girls.(4)There is basically no significant difference between different grades of middle school students in rural areas in the six dimensions of exercise motivation,except that Grade Seven is higher than the Grade Eight in the dimension of external adjustment,and Grade Seven is higher than Grade Nine in the dimensionof internal adjustment.(5)The factors influencing the motivation of middle school students to participate in sports activities in rural areas of Qinxian are as follows:different individual choices of students,different forms of school education,different ways of family training,and different social sports resources.
