With the rapid development of current society, education is a toppriority to a country to become a world power."Sports and healthcurriculum standard" is a major measure for carrying out of thequality education thoughts totally, putting forward higher demand onstudents’ sports motivation. Sports learning motivation is the innermotion of promoting students to engage in PE study.This article puts the learning motivation of Middle SchoolStudents in Shanxi Province as the object of study, using manyresearch methods such as the literature, questionnaire, interview,mathematical statistics and so on. This study researches mainly fromseveral aspects. Firstly, theoretical study under the new curriculumreform to strengthen the sports study motivation. Secondly, thecurrent situation of sports learning motivation of middle schoolstudents in Shanxi Province. Thirdly, the influencing factors of juniormiddle school student sports motivation in Shanxi Province. Fourthly,the cultivation of sports learning motivation and strategy of juniormiddle school students in Shanxi Province.By studying the following conclusions:The first, the "sports and health" curriculum standards putforward a few basic concepts of physical education curriculum for the first time, which can use really in the classroom to go to sports, thenfor how to stimulate students’ learning motivation will be the mostcrucial step. Use appropriate means to raise the level of the physicaland mental health of middle school students.The second, investigating the present situation of the juniormiddle school students in Shanxi Province sports learning motivationresearch found three points. Firstly, the situation of they participatingactively in sports activities is not ideal. Secondly, most of thestudents in physical education class is in a passive state. Thirdly, thenumber of junior high school students to participate in physicalactivity per week is not optimistic.The third, during the factors survey of junior high school studentslearning motivation of Shanxi Province, I find five points. Firstly,families pay more attention to urban school students to learn than thetownship school sports family. Secondly, the third grade students’motivation to learn than the first2grade students’ sports motivationis higher. Thirdly, the city schools pay more attention to the studentsphysical education learning motivation than the township school.Fourthly, Physical education teachers in rural schools andphysical education teachers in urban schools is not much differencein this respect to stimulate students’ learning motivation. Finally, thesocial factor has a great influence on students’ physical educationlearning motivation.The fourth, Strategies of training and stimulating of sportsmotivation of junior high school students in Shanxi include manycontent found in the survey. Specifically, it includs using appropriateteaching methods, combining with the actual situation of the students themselves to develop appropriate teaching objectives,increasing appropriately the external pressure, improving thestudents’ physical education learning motivation, strengthening theteaching management system, regulating the behavior of thestudents’ physical education learning.
