In order to verify the influence of functional movement training on the speed and strength quality of junior high school students,and to provide theoretical and practical basis for the physical education in junior high school.The research adopts experiment method,and selected the third and fourth classes as the experimental objects from Jinqiao Bilingual Junior High School in Taiyuan City to experiment for 12 weeks.The result shows :(1)After 12 weeks of functional movement training,it was present one significant difference in the indexes of speed quality(50 meters and 15-meter shuttle run)between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05),and the improvement range was about one percentage point.The efficiency of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.(2)After 12 weeks of functional movement training,it was present one significant difference in the indexes of strength quality between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05),among them,medicine ball performance improved by about 3 percentage points,standing long jump performance improved by about 2 percentage points,and the efficiency of experimental group was better than that of the control group.(3)After 12 weeks of functional movement training,it was present one significant difference in the speed quality of boys and girls in the experimental group(P<0.05).Among them,the improvement range of boys in the 50-meter run in the experimental group was better than that of girls,and the improvement range of girls in the 15-meter shuttle run was better than that of boys.While it was present one significant difference in the strength quality of boys and girls in the experimental group(P<0.05),the improvement range of boys in the medicine ball and standing long jump in the experimental group was all better than that of girls.The following conclusions can be drawn from the above analysis:(1)The functional motor training benefits obviously on speed of junior high school students,among which the promoting effect of 50-meter run is better than that of 15-meter shuttle run.(2)The functional movement training benefits obviously on strength of junior high school students,among which the promoting effect of standing long jump is better than that of shot put ball.(3)After 12 weeks of functional motor training,compared to the national physical health standards,both of the speed and strength of junior high school students have achieved good grades.
