Because of its broad mass base,basketball has become a popular collective sport among youth groups.After years of development in basketball,the technical and tactical levels have been continuously improved,and the training methods for athletes' physical fitness have also been continuously improved.Due to the limitation of economic conditions in traditional sports schools,most athletes lack specialized fitness coaches.Most athletes receive the misunderstanding of heavy-load training and tactical training instead of physical training,causing most athletes to enter high-level After professional teams,there are many problems such as lack of strength in the core area,greater probability of sports injury,poor sensitivity and flexibility.Compared to traditional physical fitness methods,functional training is significantly better than traditional training in improving strength,speed,sensitive coordination,and cardiopulmonary endurance.And it has a remarkable effect on restoring the body and preventing injuries.Therefore,functional training,as an emerging training method,was quickly welcomed by high-level sports teams such as the national basketball team.I hope to extend the research results and experience of this article to the training of more basketball teams.Therefore,during my tenure as a physical fitness coach of the reserve team,20 basketball players from the Fujian Xingxing Men's Basketball Reserve Team were used as the test subjects,and questionnaires and expert interviews were used to determine the test indicators.The author divides it into a control group and an experimental group,and uses the traditional physical training method and functional training method to conduct a 12-week systematic physical training,compares various data after the experiment,and finally draws the following conclusions:(1)Before the experiment,there is no significant difference between the two groups of professional players in the sports quality index and FMS index,and a control experiment with the training method as the only variable can be carried out.(2)After functional training,the athletic quality of the athletes in the experimental group after the experiment has been significantly improved compared with that before the experiment,which shows that functional training has a significant effect on improving strength,speed,sensitive coordination,and cardiorespiratory endurance.(3)After the traditional sports quality training,part of the sports quality of the control group athletes has been significantly improved compared to before the experiment,because the above two indicators require the coordination of the core strength of the waist and abdomen,focusing on mobilizing the overall movement of the muscles of the whole body Chain.(4)From the overall score of sports quality,in addition to the single index of the strength of a specific muscle group,functional training is significantly better than traditional physical training in improving strength,speed,sensitive coordination,and cardiorespiratory endurance.(5)After functional training,the athletic quality of the athletes in the experimental group after the experiment has been significantly improved compared with that before the experiment,indicating that the functional training has a significant effect on recovering the body and preventing injuries.(6)After traditional sports quality training,the athletes of the control group suffered different degrees of damage to their shoulders and legs,and their flexibility was reduced.Traditional sports quality training cannot restore the body and prevent injuries,and has a retrogressive effect.(7)From the overall score of the FMS indicator,it is concluded that functional training is significantly better than traditional physical training in enhancing the strong and weak chains of physical movement,reducing and preventing physical injuries and rapid recovery of professional team members.
