In this paper,the first history teacher in middle school is defined as a teacher who has been on the job for three years.With the deepening of the reform of basic education,the requirement of teachers' professional ability development is becoming higher and higher.But now,the beginning teacher more and more becomes the teacher troop in the backbone strength,therefore,must attach importance to the beginning teacher's position and the function.This paper holds that the history subject has its own unique characteristics and educational function,which requires the history teacher not only to have the general teaching ability and teaching wisdom,but also to have the professional ability closely related to the history subject.Therefore,the basic composition of the professional ability of the first history teacher is analyzed.According to the "professional standards for middle school teachers" and the characteristics and requirements of the history discipline,a qualified history teacher should have five basic abilities,namely,the professional knowledge of history,the ability of teaching design,the ability of teaching implementation,the ability of teaching evaluation,the ability of reflection and development.This paper focuses on the analysis of the characteristics of first-term history teachers,using questionnaire survey and interview research to understand the development status of first-term history teachers,and finds that there are some problems in the teaching process of first-term historyteachers.The main performance is as follows: history professional knowledge accumulation is insufficient,teaching design ability is insufficient,teaching implementation strain ability is poor,teaching reflection is not in place,research and development ability is difficult to achieve.Therefore,this paper puts forward the development strategy of the professional ability of first-term history teachers in order to provide help for the development of the professional ability of first-term history teachers.First of all,the emergence of the problem cannot be separated from the influence of the characteristics of the first history teacher,in order to promote the improvement of the problem must also start from the teachers themselves,which is the basis for the realization of the goal.Secondly,it is suggested that beginning history teachers should improve their professional ability from various aspects by extensive reading and collective lesson preparation.After a long time of teaching practice to help the beginning of the history teachers to achieve professional development.
