With the rapid development of science and technology,the pace of life,learning and work in human society is accelerating step by step.With the continuous renewal of high-tech achievements,under the influence of "global integration",various countries and nationalities not only construct the economic structure across nationalities and countries,but also share their cultures and customs.More and more frequent cultural exchanges across nationalities and countries make multicultural education more and more deeply into our teaching classroom."Promote national music and understand the diversity of music culture.The excellent traditional music of all nationalities in our country should be regarded as an important part of music teaching.Through learning,students are familiar with and love the music culture of the motherland,enhance national consciousness and cultivate patriotism.With the development of the times and the changes of social life,excellent Chinese music works reflecting modern and contemporary social life should also be included in the content of music teaching.The peace and development of the world depend on respect and understanding of different national cultures.We should learn the music culture of other countries and nations in the world from an open perspective,understand the diversity of music culture,and share all the outstanding achievements of human civilization.Multicultural music education with world music education as its core develops gradually under this background.In colleges and universities,world music education has gradually become a discipline.In basic education,diversified music education is an important step for students to begin to understand diversified cultures.Therefore,the selection of world music elements in the textbooks,which are particularly important in the teaching process,should be more cautious.This paper consists of the following parts.The first chapter briefly explains the interpretation of the relevant concepts of "world music education".The first part is aboutthe origin and proposition of the concept of "world music education",and the second part is about the significance of "world music education" to music education in China.It also defines the "world music elements" studied in this paper as music elements that do not contain their own national music in a narrow sense.The second chapter is divided into two points.The first point is to introduce the "concept" of the textbook and the importance of the textbook in the teaching process.The second point is to sort out the elements of world music in the three editions of textbooks,and arrange them clearly according to the region and style.The third chapter is the comparative analysis of three versions of textbooks.From the style,region to compare the advantages and disadvantages of the three versions of selected music elements,textbooks are using that method to introduce these music,which are more representative or need to be supplemented.The fourth chapter is based on the author's experience of attending classes in schools and some suggestions on the compilation of music textbooks in junior middle schools and the teaching of teachers through literature research.
