| Our country has begun a new round of curriculum reform since 2004.With the continuous development and change of the world and China’s overall environment,China’s curriculum reform has also continued to deepen;the curriculum nature and educational philosophy of history have also changed.The humanities and social sciences are the basis of history,which is of great significance to the sustainable development of students.And the basic education curriculum is an indispensable part of realizing China’s education policy and educational philosophy.The history curriculum in the compulsory education stage(grades 7-9)is a compulsory course for students in the compulsory education stage and is one of the key courses in basic education.Responding to the requirements of the times and fully embodying the "people-oriented" educational philosophy,this requires educators to continuously innovate teaching models in their work and explore scientific and efficient teaching methods.In addition,for a long time,the teacher’s "teaching" mostly presents and expresses knowledge to students in a passive way,and the "learning" of students is to memorize knowledge points,which hinders students from integrating theoretical knowledge with practice,resulting in students being unable to comprehensive analyzing problems and critical thinking makes it impossible for students to shoulder the responsibility of the times.Opposing “dead knowledge”,advocating learning and utilization,paying attention to the connection between historical knowledge and reality,improving comprehensive quality,and achieving comprehensive development are the call of the times and teaching status,and no doubt the case teaching method provides us with a successful way.Case teaching method is a kind of student-oriented,teachers provide contextualized cases for students to learn and discuss teaching activities.Practice has proved that case teaching is significant in mobilizing students ’enthusiasm,cultivating students’ practical ability,enhancing students ’independent thinking and decision-making ability,and training students’ innovative spirit.It can be seen that the case teaching method not only has significant advantages in cultivating students’ abilities,but also meets the basic requirements of compulsory education and new curriculum reform.The case teaching method is not new,but for junior high school history teaching,especially after the promulgation and use of the unified edition junior high school history textbook,the case teaching method is still new in the field of junior high school history education problem.In the context of the new curriculum reform,this article draws on the characteristics of case teaching methods,respects the practice of junior high school history teaching,focuses on the combination of case teaching methods and junior high school history teaching,and discusses how to use case teaching in junior high school history teaching from a theoretical and practical perspective.The method can enhance students’ historical thinking ability,develop historical core literacy,improve students’ comprehensive quality,and lay a foundation for students’ lifelong learning.This article is mainly divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly introduces the reason and significance of this topic.Based on the analysis of the current status of domestic research,it finds the innovations and research methods of this article.The second part is based on clarifying the connotation of case,case teaching method,and history case teaching method.Through interviews and surveys with three front-line history teachers,the use of new textbooks under new curriculum reform is tapped the contradiction between the teacher and the "old teaching method" is to explore the feasibility and necessity of case teaching method in the history teaching of junior high school under the background of the new curriculum reform.The third part first analyzes the methods of selecting and compiling excellent history teaching cases,and then discusses the use of case teaching methods in history teaching from the perspective of teachers and students.And the implementation effect,which shows the case implementation of the case teaching method in the edited version of the ninth grade history of the junior middle school,the third unit "Europe of the Feudal Age",to analyze the application of the case teaching method in the history teaching of junior middle school.Finally,by investigating the students who participated in the history teaching activities of the case teaching method,the effectiveness of the case teaching method in the history class of junior high school was analyzed.The fourth part mainly analyzes some problems existing in the process of applying case teaching method in the history class of junior high school under the new curriculum reform and the use of new teaching materials.It also explores the path to further improvement and proposes solutions to these problems.Through the above analysis,demonstration and reflection,the author believes that the case teaching method is a teaching method that not only meets the requirements of the new curriculum reforms,changes in the content of new textbooks,but also achieves a win-win situation for teachers and students. |
