In this era of rapid development of information technology and knowledge economy,the study of mathematics knowledge can help oneself to improve personal ability and social value so as to better adapt to contemporary life.However,many students often have difficulties in math learning,which has aroused everyone's concern.Eighth grade mathematics is the watershed of junior middle school mathematics learning,students often produce negative transfer in mathematics learning,hindering students' learning.This paper adopts literature research,questionnaire survey method,interview method were studied.Through the eighth grade 473 students were investigated in yancheng city,find out the cause of the mathematics study middle school students produce negative transfer and put forward the corresponding countermeasures,in order to help students improve their study efficiency.Through the SPSS statistical analysis of the data,the different levels,gender system research the situation of the students' negative transfer,the following conclusions:1.There are significant differences in learning internal causes,teachers' teaching and learning materials between numerically superior students and numerically poor students,and it is more likely for relative number excellent students of numerically superior students to have negative transfer of mathematical learning.2.Gender has no significant influence on the negative transfer of mathematics learning among grade 8 students.3.The causes of negative transfer in mathematics learning of grade 8 students mainly come from three aspects.The first is the internal cause of learning,which is manifested in incomplete knowledge structure,insufficient thinking development,lack of good learning methods and habits,weak metacognitive ability,and negative emotional attitude.Second,the teacher teaching aspect,performance in the teacher teaching method strategy is improper,the teacher's teaching attitude is not correct.Third,the study material aspect,the performance in the mathematics knowledge content similarity,the study material abstractness,before and after the knowledge coherence.In order to deal with the negative transfer of eighth grade students in mathematics learning,we should pay attention to the construction of students' mathematical knowledge and overcome their cognitive defects.Pay attention to train the flexibility of students' thinking and overcome the rigidity of thinking;Pay attention to train students' positive and positive emotional attitude,promote the positive transfer of emotional attitude;Strengthen the students' reflection and summary of the problem solving process,and improve the students' generalization ability.
