| As the main form of language input in children’s early language acquisition,infant-directed speech(IDS)has its unique characteristics different from that of adults. It is a topic worthy of the attention of the society, especially the educational circles. This paper aims to explore the form and content of its use in the international Chinese course. This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter analyzes the phonetic features of IDS.The IDS has a slower speed, higher pitch, more regular rhythm, more pauses, more repeated intonation, more accurate pronunciation and more exaggerated patterns than adult-directed speech. The second chapter focuses on vocabulary as the object of analysis, studies the meaning, expression and semantic network of diminutive suffix as a representative of children’s vocabulary vocabulary, and analyzes the commonly used Chinese characters in the International Curriclum for Chinese Language Education. The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of grammar and pragmatics of erxiang language. The IDS is mainly composed of short sentences, more use of content words, less use of grammatical words and modifiers, more use of word sentences, few compound sentences and clauses;pragmatically, the content of children ’s language is more involved at that time, the teacher repeated, expanded or evaluated the words of the students, and demonstrated the idiomatic expression structure for the students. The fourth chapter introduces the common nonverbal communicative behaviors in children’s language use.The use of children’s language often needs to be supplemented by a large number of non-verbal behaviors to increase students’ interest and entertain. The IDS plays an important role in stimulating students’ language behavior and accelerating students’ second language acquisition process. The author has selected a number of real classroom cases through the Wangsammor Wittyakarn school and Junghuasoasie school in Thailand. The analysis shows how to effectively use children’s language to teach elementary Chinese course. |
