In recent years, the frequent bullying thought-provoking primary and secondary school, now campus security has become a issues of common concern from all walks of life, one after another in China issued by the "about" instructional advice on the prevention and treatment of primary and secondary students bullying and violence, the comprehensive treatment project to strengthen primary and middle school students bullying prevention for bullying phenomenon. As a high incidence period of school bullying, junior high school is more worthy of attention.Throughout the researches on school bullying at home and abroad, they basically start from the aspects of legislation, school, family and individual, but rarely discuss school bullying from the perspective of sports activities. This study is aimed at the rural junior high school students, most of whom are left-behind children. From the perspective of sports activities,a group of young people who take part in many group activities, this study discusses the relationship between sports activities and school bullying, aiming to put forward countermeasures and Suggestions,so as to provide Suggestions on the prevention and treatment of school bullying among rural junior high school students. In this study,700 junior high school students from two township middle schools in fan county, puyang city, henan province were selected as the research objects. An anonymous survey was conducted to issue the Olweus junior high school bullying questionnaire and the physical activity questionnaire. The bullying questionnaire mainly investigated the types and frequency of bullying in different schools. The types of bullying and being bullied are psychological and interpersonal types, physical types, threat types and other types. The physical activity questionnaire mainly includes the static behavior and the frequency of physical activity.700 questionnaires were distributed,631 of which were valid, with an effective recoveryrate of 93%,including 290 for male students and 341 for female students.Bullying or being bullied was defined as "more than two or three times a month",static behavior time and screen time were divided into five levels, and physical activity of different intensity and types in the last seven days was divided into four levels, and the data were calculated by gender. In describing the data on the basis of the basic characteristics, using the x2 test comparing bullies and not bully in the static behavior of time, before the screen time and physical activity frequency difference, uses spearman correlation analysis bullying and bullying and static behavior of time, before the screen time and physical activity frequency correlation, and further logistics regression analysis, calculate the OR value. The results are as follows:(1)Among the surveyed junior high school students in rural areas, there were 44 school bullies and28 boys, accounting for 9.7% of the total number of boys and 16 girls, accounting for 4.7% of the total number of girls. There were 72 victims of campus bullying, including 44 male students, accounting for15.2% of the total number of male students and 16 female students, accounting for 4.7% of the total number of female students.(2)For both school bullies and victims of bullying, the types of bullying behaviors were mainly psychological and interpersonal bullying, with 67 and 125 students, respectively, accounting for 10.6% and19.8%.(3)Among the students who suffered campus bullying in grade one in rural areas, there were 28 female students, accounting for 8.3%;There were 44 male students, accounting for 15.2%,and the proportion of male students was higher than that of female students. There was a significant difference between the two(X2=7.531,P=0.006 < 0.05).Among the school bullies,16 were female, accounting for4.7%;There were 28 male students, accounting for 9.7%,and the proportion of male students was higher than that of female students. There was a significant difference between the two(X2=5.951,P=0.006<0.05).(4)There was a significant difference in screen time between those who were bullied and those who were not(X2=14.07,P=0.007 < 0.05).The screen time of the victims was significantly higher than that of the non-victims.Students with high screen time were more likely to be bullied than those with low screen time(OR=1.345,CI:1.109-1.631).(5)There was a weak positive correlation between bullying and screen time, bullying and frequency of strenuous physical activity, while there was a weak negative correlation between bullying and frequency of moderate-intensity physical activity(6)There was a significant difference in screen time between the rural junior high school bullies and non-bullies(X2=13.364,P=0.010 < 0.05).Students with high screen time were more likely to become bullies than those with low screen time(OR=1.423,CI:1.130-1.791).(7)There was no significant difference in the frequency of low-intensity physical activity between the bullied and non-bullied students(X2=2.436,P > 0.05).There were significant differences in the frequency of moderate intensity physical activity(X2=21.949,P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the frequency of vigorous physical activity(X2=6.582,P=0.086 > 0.05).The frequency of moderate-intensity physical activity was significantly lower in the bullied group than in the non-bullied group.Students with high frequency of participating in moderate intensity physical activity were less likely to be bullied than their peers with low frequency(OR=0.598,CI:0.451-0.793).(8)There was no significant difference in the frequency of low-intensity physical activity between school bullies and bullies in grade one in rural areas(X2=2.222,P=0.528 >,0.05),and no significant difference in the frequency of moderate-intensity physical activity(X2=6.965,P=0.073 >,0.05).The frequency of vigorous physical activity was significantly different(X2=16.257,P=0.001 < 0.05).Thefrequency of physical activity among bullies was significantly higher than that of non-bullies.Vigorous physical activity predicted 2.1 percent of the variation in bullying.Students who participated in high frequency of vigorous physical activity were more likely to be bullies than those who did not(OR=1.984,CI:1.374-2.866).There is a significant difference in the incidence of school bullying among different genders, and boys are more likely to be involved in school bullying. The screen time of the bullied was significantly higher than that of the non-bullied,and there was a positive correlation between the screen time of the bullied and the incidence of bullying. The frequency of the bullies participating in strenuous physical activities was significantly higher than that of the non-bullies.The results suggest that appropriate measures should be taken to reduce the screen time and increase the frequency of moderate intensity physical activity.Bullying can be prevented by regulating and organizing vigorous physical activity. However, the causal relationship and mechanism between bullying and screen time, bullying and frequency of vigorous physical activity should be further studied.
