Group reading teaching is a new way of reading teaching.It refers to a kind of reading teaching form in which teachers select one or several topics in a unit time,then teachers and students read these texts,and finally reach a consensus.The teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school is the focus of teaching.However,due to the pressure of examination and the stereotyped teaching mode of teachers,senior high school students still stay in the understanding of words and memorization of ancient poems and prose,resulting in students' fear of ancient poems and prose,low enthusiasm for learning,weak interest in learning and other problems.The class constructed by group reading is a class with students as the main body.In a short unit time,students can learn actively and autonomously through collective construction and learning with teachers and students,which is the effect that traditional "teachers teach students to learn" teaching cannot achieve.In order to improve the students' enthusiasm for the study of ancient poetry and prose,it is necessary for them to contact more with the beauty and charm of ancient poetry and prose,and to fall in love with ancient poetry and prose in the course of "feeling and seeing".Therefore,guided by the teaching concept of group writing,the author carries out the teaching of ancient poetry and prose,and summarizes the general applicable strategies of the teaching of reading ancient poetry and prose in senior high school.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.In the introduction part,it mainly explains the research background and significance;the second is literature review;the third is the research content and methods.There are three chapters in the text.The first chapter mainly introduces the necessity of group reading teaching in senior high school and the significance of group reading teaching from the perspective of teachers and students.The second chapter is mainly about the application of "group reading" in the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in senior high school,mainly from how to establish the topic,how to select the text and how to organize the teaching classroom of group reading of ancient poetry and prose.The third chapter is the effect of "group reading" teaching method applied to the ancientpoetry teaching in senior high school and the problems that should be paid attention to.The last part is the conclusion.It is mainly the summary and reflection of this chapter.
