In 2018,the Ministry of Education issued and implemented the Biology Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools.It points out that the purpose of the curriculum is to develop students' core quality of biology,and puts forward specific requirements for the cultivation of students' scientific thinking ability.The application of mathematical thinking is one of the important ways to cultivate students' scientific thinking ability.It is expected that the application of mathematical thinking in the biology teaching of ordinary senior high school can meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard to cultivate the scientific literacy of the new generation of talents.For high school biology teaching research of using mathematical thinking in most tend to recommend some specific mathematical methods used in the high school biology classroom teaching,and the present mathematical thinking on the teaching material itself and its based on specific application in the biology teaching in high school,and students in the learning ability of mathematical thinking migration study is relatively lacking.Therefore,the main content of this study is to effectively apply mathematical thinking to biology teaching in senior high school and try to express biological concepts or biological knowledge with mathematical language.Comparative analysis method,behavioral observation method,teaching practice method and data statistics method were used in thisstudy.Firstly,a comparative analysis method is used to analyze the mathematical model tests in the new curriculum standard of Biology from2015 to 2019.The results show that in recent 5 years,the academic proficiency test focuses on the examination of students' scientific thinking ability in the form of mathematical model test.Analysis of the Chinese people's education press published "the ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbook,biology required 3 in teaching material of the steady state and the environment and the present form of mathematical thinking,the study found that in biology required three textbooks for high schools are many biology knowledge related to mathematics content mainly presented in the form of mathematical model,and mathematical thinking is essential to the part of the understanding of the biology concept.Secondly,classroom observation is made on the application of mathematical thinking in biology teaching of ordinary senior high school.The statistical results show that the mathematical modeling method is conducive to the application of mathematical thinking in biology teaching,and the students' ability to use mathematical thinking to solve biological problems is improved.Finally,with the help of the teaching practice opportunity in the affiliated middle school of Guangxi Normal University for Nationalities,the author selects some chapters related to mathematical thinking in biology Compulsory Course1 of Pep Senior High School,conducts teaching design and teachingpractice with mathematical modeling method,and takes the process of Photosynthesis,section 4 of Chapter 5,as the teaching case.Based on the statistical analysis of the academic achievement test scores of class 171 and Class 172 in grade one,the effectiveness of the combination of mathematical thinking in biology teaching in general senior high school was evaluated.According to the results of practice,this study draws the following conclusions: General high school biology teaching to cultivate students to learn to use mathematical thinking to solve biological problems,in line with the new curriculum standards to cultivate students' scientific thinking ability;Mathematical thinking is the core content of scientific thinking.The effective application of mathematical thinking in high school biology teaching can effectively cultivate students' scientific thinking ability;In the core curriculum to cultivate students biology discipline quality goals and objectives,the high school biology teachers should understand and master the related knowledge of mathematics in the textbooks,and pay attention to the application of mathematical thinking in the biology concept teaching,in the process of teaching pay attention to the cultivation of students' mathematical thinking ability,thus to achieve the target of improve students' ability of scientific thinking.
