"Speaking mathematics" activity refers to an activity in which teacher s provide a platform for students to "speak mathematics" in the teaching p rocess,and students express their understanding and ideas of mathematics knowledge in precise mathematical language,popular language,written l anguage or body language,so as to achieve the interaction between teach ers and students.Traditional teaching pays more importance to the impart s of teachers than the independent learning of students,ignores the proces s of students’ understanding and internalization of mathematical knowled ge and the cultivation of mathematical thinking.The teaching activity of "speaking mathematics",which takes students’ learning as the main body,will give play to students’ main body status and have a far-reaching influe nce on the teaching effect.The first part of this paper introduces the research background,resear ch significance,research content,methods and theoretical basis.The second part mainly uses the literature research method to theoreti cally summarize the domestic and foreign research status of the concepts of "theory and mathematics" and "three religions".The third part mainly carries on the "speaking mathematics" activity t eaching example research analysis,uses the case study method,the classr oom observation method and the experience summary method to the mid dle school mathematics classroom teaching student "speaking mathematic s" activity teaching example analysis.The new teaching,recitation and re citation of exploration of Pythagorean theorem are selected as three kinds of class examples,and the analysis and research are conducted from five aspects: teaching design,classroom record,classroom observation,learning experience and teaching reflection.The results show that the activity o f "speaking mathematics" can exercise students’ ability of language expre ssion,promote the effective interaction between teachers and students,hi ghlight students’ main role in class,and implement the educational conce pt of "three education" in class.The fourth part mainly discusses the suggestions of implementing the teaching activities of "speaking mathematics",which mainly suggests tha t teachers should pay attention to the choice of the organizational form of "speaking mathematics",the effectiveness of the problem setting in the ac tivities of "speaking mathematics",and the requirements of "speaking mat hematics" activities on teachers’ professional quality.In the fifth part,the author summarizes the research on the teaching a ctivities of mathematics theory and points out the shortcomings and propo ses a new research direction for further development.
