In recent years,with the rapid development of modern information technology,big data has received extensive attention from all walks of life.Data has infiltrated into every industry in today's society,and businesses supported by data have been vigorously developed.Big data has brought a disruptive technological revolution to all walks of life,which also means the arrival of the era of big data.With the arrival of the era of big data,people are gradually aware of the great changes brought by data to their lives.All countries are beginning to emphasize the importance of data.It has become an inevitable requirement of the development of the times to cultivate citizens' data literacy.As the future of the country,middle school students should have good data literacy.However,data literacy education of middle school students has not been widely concerned by researchers so far,and middle school students' data literacy education has not been carried out in actual classroom teaching.In order to design data literacy education activities for junior middle school students,understand problems of data literacy education in the practical teaching,and explore the effect after the improvement of teaching problems,this paper uses a variety of research methods,such as literature research,action research,interview,questionnaire survey,etc.,to design the data inquiry learning activities in junior middle school,and in the actual teaching to verify and improve it.The following are the main works of this study:First of all,on the basis of existing research,the definition ofdata literacy and related concepts is summarized and sorted out,the relationship between related concepts is elaborated,and the current status of data literacy research and data literacy education is analyzed.Secondly,after learning the existing teaching mode and analyzing the theoretical basis of data literacy education,the author designed the data inquiry learning activities suitable for junior middle school students,and expounded each teaching practice link.After that,the action research program of data inquiry learning activities in junior middle school is designed,which makes the preparatory work for the action research.Finally,the author go to the middle school to carry out the actual teaching activities,and find the problems in the data inquiry learning activities in the actual teaching.After the teaching activities,the author discussed the problems existing in the teaching process with the teachers attending the class,put forward the corresponding solutions,apply them to the teaching,and verified the improved classroom effect through classroom observation and data comparison.After three rounds of action research,a relatively complete teaching model of junior middle school data inquiry learning activity was finally obtained,and the effect of junior middle school data inquiry learning activity was verified through survey data analysis,thus providing a reference for junior middle school students'data literacy education.
