With the development of the times and the progress of society,the ideological and political education of junior high schools must also keep pace with the times.The Internet age provides convenient conditions for people to obtain a variety of current affairs information in a timely manner,and current affairs contain a lot of wealth information in life.Current political education,as an important part of the "Ethics and Rule of Law" course in junior high schools,plays a great role in many aspects,such as guiding students to pay attention to current social development,cultivating and practicing the core values of socialism,helping students acquire basic knowledge of national conditions and policies,and stimulating students' interest,promoting the professional development of teachers,enhancing classroom effects,etc.However,due to many reasons in the actual teaching,the current political education of the "Ethics and Rule of Law" course in junior high schools is not good.This research attempts to start from the combination of theory and practice,discusses the problems existing in the implementation of "Ethics and Rule of Law" in junior high school education of current politics,and proposes optimization strategies.This article is divided into five parts: The first part is mainly to give a brief overview of the meaning of current politics education,the relevant theories of current politics education in the junior high school "Moral and the Rule of Law",and the theoretical basis of current politics education.The second part elaborates on the characteristics,requirements and significance of the current politics education in the junior middle school "Ethics and the Rule of Law",explaining the necessity of implementing current politics education.The third part is to put forward the substantive problems existing in the implementation of the "Ethics and Rule of Law" class in the junior high school of current politics education,and explain the reasons for the problems from multiple angles.The fourth part is based on the analysis of the reasons in the previous part.It elaborates the implementation strategies of optimizing current affairs education in the junior high school "Ethics and the Rule of Law" from the perspectives of school establishment of current affairs education platform,teachers' promotion of current affairs professional quality and students' active learning of current affairs knowledge.The fifth part takes the lesson of “Realizing the Chinese Dream Together" as an example for teaching design,and explores the teaching effect of current politics education in the "Ethics and Rule of Law" lesson in junior high school.
