The sense of quantity is one of the core qualities of mathematics of primary school students.The primary school stage mainly involves seven sense of quantity,among which the students' perception and ability to estimate the length of time is the sense of quantity of time.The third part of Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 edition)requires lower grade pupils to "combine their own life experience and experience the length of time" [Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Full-time Compulsory Education(2011 edition)[S].Beijing: Beijing Normal University Press,2011.]Improving the sense of time can help pupils understand the concept of time.The degree of perception of the amount of time;Increased control over time;To improve the efficiency of students' work.The first grade is the critical period for the formation of students' sense of time.This paper selects the first grade pupils as the research object,analyzes the current situation of the first grade pupils' sense of time and the current teaching situation of the first grade students' sense of time through the results of questionnaire survey and observation method.Combined with Pearson correlation test and independent sample t test,we investigated the current situation of time sense of first-grade students.Using the sense of unit quantity of second time as the basis for judging whether there is a significant difference in the sense of time quantity of first grade students with different genders and different math achievements.The results show that the first-grade students have the ability to sense the amount of time in seconds in advance;There was no significant difference in time sense ability between male and female students in the first grade.The better the math achievement,the higher the time sense ability of students;Different colors,different sound types and different operation modes will affect the ability of time sense of primary school students.Through textbook analysis and relevant literature retrieval,it is found that first-grade students have the ability of time sense in advance because of teaching intervention--first-grade students have already learned the outdated sense of time in the first semester.The teaching strategies proposed for time teaching mainly include the following points: first,the cultivation of time sense in advance;Second,enhance the experience of time sense teaching,situational;Third,give more "care" to students who do poorly in maths;Fourth,scientific arrangement of teaching environment;Fifth,diversified teaching evaluation methods.
