The "Window of Learning and Thinking" column is an auxiliary column next to the text of each lesson in the unified high school history textbook.This column organically supplements the important and difficult content of each lesson through the form of material analysis questions,which is conducive to improving the history learning ability and cultivating the students’ core literacy of history,which is of great benefit to strengthening the students’ initiative in history learning.According to the requirements of the course standard,each lesson in the unified edition textbook has a variety of auxiliary columns to help students better understand the knowledge of the textbook.The "Window of Learning and Thinking" column is inherited from the old version of the textbook.The high-quality auxiliary column shows its high status and function.However,in actual teaching,most teachers turned a blind eye to the "Window of Learning and Thinking" column,which to a certain extent caused a waste of educational resources.On the basis of investigating the status quo of the application of the "Window of Learning and Thinking" column in teaching,this paper deeply analyzes the purpose and characteristics of the column,clarifies the location and function of the "Window of Learning and Thinking" column,and puts forward the application principles and strategies.Among them,the application strategy is divided into two dimensions and six aspects.The two dimensions are teaching links and column types;three targeted application strategies are proposed from the teaching preparation,class,and extracurricular links;different solutions are proposed for the three types of materials such as cause analysis,viewpoint recognition,and impact evaluation.Question strategy.In the implementation of the application strategy,special experimental classes are set up for practical verification,and combined with actual teaching cases,the actual effect analysis of the "window of learning and thinking" column is carried out.Studies have shown that the effective use of the "Window of Learning and Thinking" column in history teaching has obvious effects.Compared with traditional teaching methods: On the one hand,it not only returns the main status of the history classroom to students,but also improves students’ historical data analysis ability and history learning initiative,optimizes students’ history learning habits,and helps cultivate students’ history subject literacy;on the other hand,On the one hand,it also promotes the professional development of history teachers,can improve the subject professional quality of history teachers,is conducive to the cultivation of research teachers,and is of great value to update the teaching concepts of history teachers.Through the above research,it is hoped that the effective use of the "Window of Learning and Thinking" column in the future history teaching can be enlightened.
