After more than ten years of curriculum reform development,history textbooks have change from one standard for multiple editions to one standard for one edition of textbooks.Among them,historical figures are the important content of history books.Whether it is 2001 or 2011 edition of curriculum standardsor is pointed out that students can evaluate historical figures correctly on the basis of understanding the characters and the ‘historical figures and historical narrative of events,vivid,concrete should strive to’,but also to ‘understand the thoughts of important historical figures and contribution’.In order to analyze the changes in the selection of historical figures,this paper chooses the same version of history textbooks,which were published in 2001 and 2016 respectively,based on detailed date analysis historical change,and then discuss the reason of change and invariability,merge with first-line teachers talk to textbook selection suggestions are propose.This paper consists of four parts.The first chapter statistics the selection of historical figures in the two editions of history textbooks.In the second chapter,the data of the previous chapter are sorted out to analyze the reference and improvement of the 2016 edition of history textbook to the history textbook published in 2001 when selecting materials.The selection of historical figures in the 2016 edition of textbooks still conforms to the 2001 edition of history textbook when selecting figures.The selection of historical figures in the 2016 edition of textbooks choose characters who fit the curriculum criteria,the principle of ‘events first,people second’,the characteristics that the proportion of world historical and cultural figures is higher than that of Chinese,many of the characters have illustrations.However,many characters are re-selected,and many characters are not in the prologue,deleted mythological characters,and added economic figures.The third chapter,this paper starts with the conclusion that the character selection is change and invariability,and seeks for its deep-seated reasons.It is found that the core criteria for the selection of historical figures have not changed from beginning to end,which all require the selection of representative and educational historical figures.However,character selection,as an important step in the compilation of history textbooks,is influenced by the national education policy,curriculum standard and students’ changes.The fourth chapter,after the above research,cohered with teachers’ experience in practical teaching,brings forward some proposal to further the selection of characters in history textbooks which was pubulished in 2016 of from the aspects of supplementing the required characters in the curriculum standard,adding female representative characters,streamlining the seldom characters,and adding characters that can reflect the requirements of era. |
