Mathematics is an important subject that promotes the transition from concrete image thinking to empirical abstract thinking for junior high school students.Many students in rural junior high schools have certain difficulties in learning mathematics.Junior high school mathematics teachers can effectively use information technology to assist students to learn mathematics better,and better complete the transition from concrete image thinking to experience-based abstract thinking.Therefore,this article conducts research on the information technology application ability of rural junior high school math teachers.This study uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey and data statistical analysis to study the current situation and influencing factors of rural junior high school mathematics teachers' information technology application ability,and put forward suggestions and strategies for the development of rural junior high school mathematics teachers' information technology application ability.The main contents are as follows.Firstly,construct the information technology application ability structure of junior high school mathematics teachers.Based on competency standards and combined with the suggestions of mathematics education experts,a system consisting of three primary dimensions: "School Information Technology Situation","Teacher Information Technology Application Awareness" and "Teacher Information Technology Application Ability".Based on the above structural system,the "Questionnaire on Information Technology Application Ability of Rural Junior High School Mathematics Teachers" was compiled.Secondly,investigate and research 408 rural junior high school mathematics teachers in A province.The results show that the overall level of rural junior high school mathematics teachers' information technology application ability was good.The ability levels of the eight main dimensions are sorted from high to low:basic technical literacy,planning and preparation ability,information technology application awareness,organization and development ability,learning and development ability,assessment and diagnosis ability,school information technology situation,professional technology Literacy.The teacher's age,highest education level,and type of teacher have a significant impact on the development of rural junior high school mathematics teachers' information technology application ability.Lastly,based on the analysis results of the current situation of rural junior middle school mathematics teachers' information technology application ability,we found out the problems that need to be solved urgently,and carried out attribution analysis: the lack of learning exchange and resource sharing among schools at school,district,county,and provincial and municipal levels;Insufficient absorption of high-level talents in schools;insufficient investment in education funds in rural schools;low self-development awareness of teachers for the application of information technology;lack of information technology-related training activities and incentive systems.At the same time,suggestions and strategies for the development of rural junior high school mathematics teachers' information technology application capabilities are put forward: sharing junior high school mathematics resources to achieve regional alliance linkage;introduce mathematics education talents to help information technology teaching;increasing technical funding to ensure the development of mathematics education;transformation the concept of teacher education is to strengthen the construction of the teacher team;carry out information technology training and optimize the corresponding incentive policies.
