Research On Social Memory In Zhoucun Clan Reconstruction

The reconstruction of clan is a topic that cannot be separated from the social changes of the rural areas in southern China since the reform and opening up.The research on clan social memory is a new research interest in recent years.Under this background,this paper selects Zhoucun,which has a high degree of clan development,as a field investigation point,and studies the social memory in the reconstruction of his clan.In the process of research,the paper gradually raises the following four questions:first,what is the social memory of Zhoucun clan,what is the social memory and the representation activities of its social memory in specific dimensions;secondly,in the process of its reconstruction,which social memory is mainly rebuilt;thirdly,how to refute the contents of Zhoucun clan The fourth is how to use the social memory of Zhoucun clan to help the reconstruction of the future.These four problems are highly related to the research topic of this paper,and have certain practical and theoretical significance,so they have the value of in-depth exploration.In order to answer these four questions,the author takes connaton's social memory theory as the research framework,goes deep into Zhoucun,a field investigation point,and conducts nearly six months of field practice by means of participatory observation,unstructured interview and collection of physical objects.After preliminary research,the paper gradually formed the answers to the above four questions:first,the social memory of Zhoucun clan is mainly about the feelings of Zude,the clan and the description of suffering and unrest,and then the memories saved by the rituals and the practice of formalization and engraving,and in addition,the memory with other groups The memory preserved in the interactive communication;secondly,the Zhoucun clan rebuilt most of the contents of their social memory,which is a top-down repetitive behavior,and thus has its foundation.Even those memories involving suffering and unrest still influence their behavior in an invisible way.At the same time,the author has carried out the reconstruction of the causes of these tribulation and unrest The paper expounds that the transformation of the relationship between the state and the clan and the influence of "symbolic violence" of individuals in the big environment;thirdly,Zhoucun clan can heal the social memory scars left by the times of suffering and turmoil by means of the reconstruction of genealogy,the restoration of ancestral hall and the exchange of the same clan association;fourthly,it can dig out the rich cultural contents in the social memory of Zhoucun clan Digging,maintaining its vitality,and even providing the help for the development of its clan in the future.Based on the answers to these four questions,after trying to get rid of the shackles of connaton's theory,the author expresses clan reconstruction as the accidental chimerism of various types of "social value pedigree".Therefore,the author emphasizes that the reconstruction of clans in the new era should be based on the social value pedigree of various types of society,that is,always adhere to the leadership of the party,strive for the support of relevant government departments,comply with social changes,meet the needs of the people,innovate the content and form of culture,and carry out cultural production and output,In order to enrich the precious heritage of its existing and constantly precipitated social memory,strive to become a positive construction force and favorable factor in the practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
