In recent years,China has been strengthening quality education,promoting education reform,speeding up the integration of educational short boards,and increasing the emphasis on aesthetic education year by year.Among them,popular dance education,that is,dance education for all students has gradually received wide public attention.At present,there are still backward education level and lack of teaching resources in some ethnic areas of our country,especially the emphasis on aesthetic education is not enough.Ethnic areas are different from other regions and have abundant resources for ethnic aesthetic education,and china’s "Western Plan" project is an important measure to help improve the level of basic education in ethnic areas,and it is of great significance to improve the level of basic education in ethnic areas through the "Western Plan" project.Based on this,this paper combines the dance elements of ethnic areas,through the teaching practice of high school dance classes in ethnic areas,and adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire,educational experiment and other research methods,to carry out practical research on dance teaching in high schools in ethnic areas.First of all,through consulting the relevant literature,the core concepts of teaching objectives,teaching principles,teaching content,curriculum framework,teaching process and teaching methods are studied.Secondly,the existing relevant research is analyzed and combed,and the educational status of dance teaching in ethnic areas of our country is deeply studied from the aspects of "Western Plan" project and basic education.Third,through field investigation and analysis,the teaching program and teaching content of high school dance in ethnic areas are designed,and the teaching practice object of Naqu High School in Lhasa City is put into practice.Finally,by analyzing the effect of teaching practice,it is proved that it is feasible to design and popularize the dance teaching program and teaching content of high schools in ethnic areas under the "Western Plan".
