In recent years,the education department and other government departments jointly issued a series of documents to promote the development of research and study travel,which ushered in a period of rapid development.The ancients cloud: "reading thousands of books,view",the classroom learning should be combined with practice,studies of travel as an integrated curriculum,can provide students with learning methods in real scene,helps to cultivate students ability of observation,practice,research and innovation,change the current is given priority to with traditional classroom,partial trains the student to the present situation of the subject knowledge ability,is the effective path to cultivate comprehensive talents,for the implementation of "khalid ents" education goals to lay a solid foundation.The STEAM education concept focuses on the integration of multiple disciplines and provides new ideas for the design of research and study travel courses.First of all,on the basis of summarizing previous studies,this paper makes a literature review from two aspects of research travel and STEAM education,and makes a theoretical basis analysis of the teaching theory of "learning by doing",the theory of multiple intelligences and the theory of constructivist learning.Secondly,this paper uses the method of questionnaire survey to conduct the survey and interview on students' cognition of study travel,geography practical ability and innovation ability.Based on the results of investigation and interview from a targeted research study objective establishment,research learning curriculum content selection and research learning curriculum organization and learning style,inquiry learning travel safety management systematically to alkaline saline danxia national geological park,systematism course construction.Through the above research,the following research conclusions are drawn:(1)Research courses are one of the effective ways to cultivate students' practical ability and innovative ability of geography.In the process of participating in research activities,students connect the textbook knowledge with real life,which is helpful to broaden students' cognitive breadth and improve students' comprehensive thinking ability.(2)Through the questionnaire survey and interview,it is found that teachers attach great importance to the cultivation of students' practical ability and innovative ability of geography,but good results have not been obtained.The reason is that students lack of self-improvement consciousness and rich knowledge reserve.Teachers cultivate students' practical ability and innovative ability of geography traditional methods,lack of a wide range of multidisciplinary knowledge,modern teaching technology and means are not in place.(3)Based on the STEAM concept and relying on the research resources of Zhangye Danxia National Geoparks,the research course of Zhangye Danxia National Geoparks is designed to explore its research value and cultivate students' practical ability and innovation ability of geography.In order to ensure the scientific design of research and study activities,it is necessary to combine the curriculum standards and follow the scientific design procedures when designing the research and study travel courses.(4)In the aspect of research evaluation,on the basis of multiple evaluation subjects and various evaluation methods,the evaluation of students can be carried out from two aspects of process evaluation and outcome evaluation.In order to give objective and comprehensive suggestions to students,teachers can take the explicit materialized results as the basis of evaluation,so as to improve the objectivity of evaluation criteria.The innovation of this paper is that based on theories and current situation investigation,the relationship between STEAM education concept and research and study travel is discussed,and a detailed research and study travel plan is designed according to the STEAM education concept,providing a new direction for the course design of research and study travel in the future.
