Expository writing is an article genre that introduces objective things or interprets abstract affair with explanation as an expression method.It is one of the important styles of selected essays in elementary school Chinese textbooks.Different from other types of articles,the explanatory text is knowledgeable,the language is rigorous,and the article structure is logical,which is of great value for enriching students' scientific knowledge and cultivating students' thinking ability.After the elementary school Chinese textbook was changed from the PEP version to the unified edition,the layout of the explanatory texts has also undergone some changes,the number of explanatory texts has increased,and the subject matter has become more diversified,and the explanatory text unit directed to the training of explanatory text exercises has been specially set up.These changes are for teachers.Teaching brings certain challenges.Teachers' understanding and grasp of the arrangement of expository texts in unified textbooks is very important for expository teaching.Therefore,research on the teaching of expository text in the unified edition of elementary school Chinese textbooks is of great value for further improving the teaching of expository text reading and assignments.This research first discusses the development process of explanatory style,the concept and classification of explanatory style,and demonstrates the unique characteristics of explanatory style through comparison with narrative and argumentative essays.Secondly,it analyzes the requirements for expository essay selection and expository teaching in the "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 Edition)",and clarifies the requirements of the curriculum standard for expository teaching in elementary school.Then,based on the unified edition of elementary school Chinese textbooks,I systematically sorted out and analyzed the selection and arrangement of explanatory texts,and summarized the characteristics and arrangement characteristics of the selected texts,that is,the selected texts are rich and diverse,and the types of the selected texts are literary expository texts.The main and low-level common sense popular science articles contain the characteristics of explanations,and the explanatory essays are concentrated in the middle and high school sections.Thirdly,the author investigates the current situation of expository teaching in the unified edition of elementary school Chinese textbooks by means of questionnaire surveys,from teachers' understanding and attitudes towards expository texts,understanding of expository styles in the integrated textbooks,grasp of expository styles,and general units The handling of expository essays and the compilation of questionnaires on the five aspects of the understanding and teaching of expository essay units.The investigation found that there are the following three problems: some teachers lack a sense of style and style,teachers are not clear about the purpose of explanatory essay units,and the teaching effectiveness is low The student is not interested in the explanatory text,and analyzes the causes of the above-mentioned problems.Finally,based on the above research,the expository teaching suggestions proposed by this research for elementary school language teachers include: clarify the characteristics of the learning period and permeate the sense of style;use explanatory methods,provide data and support to learn to write simple explanatory texts;stimulate students' interest in learning with the help of intuitive diagrams;The evaluation points to the requirements of the work,and the evaluation subjects are diversified.
