Physics is a subject based on observation and experiment.Lots of physics knowledge learned in middle school were summarized from repeated experiments.However,there are some drawbacks in physics experiment teaching in middle school classroom at present.For example,some teachers don't pay enough attention to physical experiment teaching,and many students also lack interest in physical experiment and so on.Therefore,the author designed corresponding interesting physical experiments for the physics knowledge in the middle and high school stages.Moreover,we applied them into the classroom teaching and compared them with the conventional teaching designments.our aim is to arouse the attention of the majority of teachers to experimental teaching and to increase the interest of students in physical experiments and physics study.This article consists of six chapters.The first part is the introduction about the research background and significance,addressing the research status at home and abroad and containing the content,methods and innovations of the research.This article aims at the current situation that majority of teachers and students despise physics demonstration experiments,by analysing the domestic and foreign researches on interesting physical experiments,and by using questionnaire survey,interview,literature review and practice,to study the application of fun experiment in middle school.The second chapter is about the definition of related concepts and the narration of related theoretical foundations.First of all,this chapter defines the concept of "fun physical experiment" : "fun experiment" revolves around "fun".It is not necessarily simple or complicated,but it must be an experiment that can arouse students' interest in learning to achieve good studying results.Then we analyzed the characteristics and application principles of interesting physical experiments and the necessity and feasibility of developing interesting physical experiments.Finally,the importance of interesting physics experiments to students' learning and development was discussed in various aspects,including the characteristics of physics,constructivism theory,learning motivation theory,multiple intelligence theory,and the psychological characteristics of middle and high school students,as well as the common characteristics of middle school students.The third and fourth chapters are the core content of this article,which concerns the application of interesting physics experiments in junior and senior middle schools.In chapter3 three demonstration experiments of junior high school stage are selected.They are“exploring the production of sound”,“exploring the phenomenon of light reflection”,and“exploring the phenomenon of light refraction”.Chapter 4 concerns three demonstration experiments at the high school stage: “exploring gravity and center of gravity”,“the application of the Newton second law” and “the exploration of the phenomenon of overweight and weightlessness”.By performing class teaching practices of the above six experiments and by comparing with conventional teaching designments,it was found that there exist explicit advantages under the application of interesting physics experiments.The fifth chapter is the research results and their analysis,including the questionnaire survey before and after the experiments,and including students' scores.Data are presented and analyzed in the form of tables and charts to provide objective data supporting for the conclusions of the paper.The results show that after the experiment,students' attitude towards interesting physics experiments and their physics scores have been improved to a certain extent.The interviews with four physics teachers in junior middle school in Heze and four physics teachers in senior high school in Jinan showed that the teachers held a positive attitude on the interesting experiments on the whole,and moreover they put forward some suggestions that physics teachers could learn from the existing experiments to develop more interesting physics experiments to improve the teaching efficiency.Finally,based on the research basis of Chapter 3 and Chapter 4,the application of interesting physics experiments has been discussed,and obtained some conclusions drawn as,in junior high school,interesting physics experiments are easy to be used in the form of introduction,while in senior high school,interesting physics experiments are helpful to be used in the way of exploration.The sixth chapter is the summary and prospect of the whole research.The limitations of this research and the problems to be further discussed are analyzed.The possible application and development direction of interesting physics experiment teaching are prospected.This paper has discussed the application and importance of interesting physics experiment from the aspects of theory and practice respectively,and provided insights into the application mode and function of interesting physics experiment with investigation method and practice method,hoping to provide reference suggestions for the majority of physics teachers to carry out experiment teaching.
