As an important part of the textbooks,the auxiliary text can enrich the teaching design,supplement and expand the text,and play an important role in the actual teaching."Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" is a new textbook compiled according to the curriculum standard of the 2017 edition.The auxiliary text in the textbook account for nearly half of the length and proportion of the book.The columns are diverse and the content is rich,which makes the textbook more readable and interesting.However,there are also some problems in the practical application,such as insufficient research on the auxiliary text,insufficient selection,and poor classroom application effect.Therefore,the author has made a preliminary discussion on the application strategy of the auxiliary text in the new textbook on the basis of previous studies.Based on the high school ideological and political compulsory textbooks "socialism with Chinese characteristics" auxiliary text as the research object,the research content mainly consists of three parts,the first part is mainly to the auxiliary text,the definition of the auxiliary textbooks and teaching auxiliary function,through the literature to explore the types of auxiliary to the textbooks,analysis and induction,and analyze the textbooks auxiliary in the teaching the importance of using;The second part is through the questionnaire survey of high school students,and political science teachers in teaching and learning "socialism with Chinese characteristics" when teaching attention assist the situation and the use of auxiliary the problems,there are mainly the study of auxiliary text enough,auxiliary selection and transformation of the use of science,in the classroom effect is not ideal enough,etc.;Through the analysis of the survey data,the main causes of the problems include teachers’ inadequate understanding of the teaching value of auxiliary text,some teachers’ heavy teaching burden,some teachers’ professional quality to be improved,and the restriction of the knowledge level and psychological characteristics of middle school students.The third part is based on the results of the questionnaire survey,in view of the existing problems and reasons of the use of auxiliary text to put forward the corresponding optimization strategies.In order to make good use of the auxiliary text in teaching,we must first improve the understanding of the auxiliary text,teachers should enhance the ability to choose the auxiliary text,including selection,application and secondary development,and finally,we should strengthen the guidance to students to improve the efficiency of the use of the auxiliary text.
