With the rapid development of modern science and technology,the application of chemical knowledge has penetrated into all fields of the society,and our daily life,medicine and health,communication,food,clothing,housing and transportation are inseparable from chemistry.Chemistry is a great contribution to the development of human society and plays an irreplaceable role in every field of society.Seaborg once said,"Chemistry--the key to human progress".The development of today's society requires citizens to have certain chemical knowledge in order to better promote the continued development of the society.Chemistry has been closely related to our life and production since the day she was born.There are essential differences between high school chemistry textbooks and other subjects.High school chemistry is closer to society,life and reality.High school chemistry,which teaches from simple to deep makes students understand the important role of chemistry in the production and life of human society,and enables students to have a more comprehensive understanding of the society,the world,and the relationship between man and nature.Therefore,chemistry teaching in senior high school is one of the important ways to acquire chemistry knowledge.In order to achieve the goal of curriculum reform in basic education,it is an effective measure to cultivate students' interest in learning,because interest is the most basic motivation for students to learn.If students are not interested in learning,they will lose the motivation to learn and will not feel the sense of achievement brought by learning knowledge in the learning process.Relying only on the teacher's "spoon-feeding" teaching method can not achieve the purpose of teaching,but will make students tired of learning psychology.Rural high school students in Kashgar in Xinjiang are facing great difficulties in chemistry study.Most of them are farmers and herdsmen from rural areas.Their parents are less educated and have little control over their children's lives and studies.The lack of family education and guidance also leads to a lack of hands-on and brain-based opportunities.Some students can not keep up with the normal teaching progress.Because of negative attitude,weak interest,lacking of confidence,independent thinking,and learning spirit and ability,students have poor grades and limited development of thinking ability.Although the parents of students in rural high schools in Kashgar,Xinjiang are not wellher-educated,they are very supportive of their children's further education.As a father myself.I hope my children can go to a good university,learn more knowledge,and find a good job after graduation.Therefore,it is imperative to optimize chemistry teaching strategies and cultivate students' learning interest.In this paper,based on the current Xinjiang Kashgar region the status quo of rural high school students' chemistry learning interest,which is analyzed from the research background and significance,then introduces the present research situation at home and abroad,combined with relevant theory starting from the characteristics of chemistry discipline itself,combining with the reform of chemistry new curriculum standard,the homemade chemistry learning interest questionnaire on the basis of the Xinjiang Kashgar region rural high school chemistry learning interest questionnaire investigation,the analysis of the results of the questionnaire,affecting Xinjiang Kashgar region rural high school students' chemistry learning interest factor,puts forward corresponding solving strategy.This paper will provide some operable teaching suggestions for the chemistry teacher in teaching the student how ro learn Chemistry,finally enhance the rural middle school students' interest in learning Chemistry,promotes the students' comprehensive development,form the lifelong study habit.
