With the continuous progress of educational theories in the new era and the rapid development of information technology,information technology and subject education have more in-depth integration.The integration of technology has brought earth-shaking changes to the learning environment.Compared with the traditional classroom learning environment,the smart classroom has the advantages and characteristics of diverse information.Such advantages and characteristics not only bring huge opportunities to educators,but also huge challenges.Therefore,this study will verify whether the smart classroom learning environment has an effect on students’ academic achievement.Based on the literature review between variables,this study found that there is a promoting effect between learning environment preference and academic achievement.Learning environment preference can have an impact on self-efficacy and learning attitude,and self-efficacy and learning attitude can promote academic achievement.Therefore,this study established a structural equation model,and verified the relationship between college students’ learning environment preferences and academic achievements in smart classrooms,as well as the mediating effect of self-efficacy and learning attitude between learning environment preference and academic achievement.This research uses questionnaire surveys and semi-structured interviews to survey chemistry students from a normal university in central China who participated in the"Advanced Mathematics B" course in the smart classroom.Scales include the"Smart Classroom Learning Environment Preference Scale","Self-efficacy Scale" and "Learning Attitude Scale".The author used offline methods to distribute questionnaires in smart classrooms.According to statistics,a total of 276 questionnaires were collected.After excluding 5 invalid questionnaires,271 valid questionnaires remained.This study mainly uses SPSS25.0 and SmartPLS3.3.1 to analyze the data.The conclusions of this study:(1)College students prefer to study in a smart classroom learning environment;(2)College students’ preference for the learning environment and their academic achievements have a direct role in promoting;(3)Both the self-efficacy and learning attitude of college students can play an intermediary role between the learning environment preference and academic achievement of the smart classroom.In order to enable college educators to further enhance the academic achievement level of college students in the smart classroom by improving the characteristics of the learning environment of the smart classroom,this research puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Enhance the learning experience of smart classrooms by increasing exploratory learning opportunities;(2)Improve the learning environment of the smart classroom by enhancing the management of the smart classroom network;(3)Give full play to the learning environment function of the smart classroom by improving the teaching design level of teachers.The main work of this research is to verify the correlation between the learning environment preference and academic achievement of college students in the smart classroom,and the mediating effect of self-efficacy and learning attitude between the learning environment preference and academic achievement.
