The new round of scientific and technological revolution has brought earth-shaking changes to the world and is driving a new educational revolution.The new generation of information technology represented by artificial intelligence,big data and cloud computing has rapidly penetrated into the field of education and teaching,promoting the reform of learning methods and learning environment.At the same time,the development of intelligent education has become the top priority of China’s education information work.Driven by technology and policies,schools and enterprises at all levels have begun to explore the characteristics of a new generation of learning environment.As a typical learning space,smart classroom has attracted wide attention.Facing the rich types of smart classrooms,I can’t help asking,what is a smart classroom? Why is a smart classroom smart? In order to answer this question,this study adopts the method of systematic literature review,crosses the boundaries of disciplines,takes the core literature in many fields as the research object,and extracts objective and effective data from the original literature by means of literature coding.On this basis,this paper makes descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative meta-analysis on the coded data,and answers why the smart classroom is smart from two aspects: the functional characteristics of the smart classroom and the application effect of the smart classroom.In order to explore the functional characteristics and implementation effect of smart classroom,this study searched the foreign literature published from 2000 to 2020.According to the coding framework compiled in the early stage,the ke y information is extracted from the literature in turn.Based on the descriptive st atistical analysis of 258 documents,it is found that the functional characteristics of the smart classroom are: intelligent environmental regulation,green energy ma nagement,flexible spatial layout and digital infrastructure;In the workspace,it is manifested as: diversified content,convenient access to resources,diversified int eraction methods,accurate learning and analysis,and efficient management and e valuation.In addition,the physical space and working space model are construct ed.Based on multi-disciplinary research results,the model describes the function al orientation,technical support and application situation of smart classroom.The workspace is located in the center,covering four main teaching activities: teachin g content,classroom participation,classroom interaction,management and evaluati on.The physical space is located at the periphery of the workspace.It provides basic support for the workspace from three aspects: physical environment,infrastr ucture and spatial layout,and promotes the intellectualization of teaching activitie s.Based on the meta-analysis of 28 literatures,it is found that the smart classroom environment has a medium and significant positive effect on learning effect(ES = 0.649,I2 = 77.909%).Through subgroup analysis,it is found that discipline,intervention cycle and teaching methods can regulate the implementation effect of smart classroom.The functional elements of the learning segment and the smart classroom do not regulate the implementation effect of the smart classroom,that is,the smart classroom under different segments and different functional elements has the same effect on the learning effect.Finally,according to the research conclusions,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions on the construction of smart classroom from three aspects: government,enterprises and schools.The construction of smart classroom involves many fields.In order to avoid the limitation of a single perspective,this study adopts the method of systematic literature review,integrates the research results in many fields,comprehensively considers the functional characteristics of smart classroom,and generates the functional model of smart classroom,which provides an important reference for the construction of smart classroom. |
