From the background of the current social reform,China’s educational reform and the transformation of geography,the cultivation of geography practical ability is very important,but the research on the simulated situation of classroom teaching is relatively weak.This paper takes the cultivation of geographical practical ability in classroom teaching scene as the research content,based on literature analysis,questionnaire survey,classroom observation,ITIAS interactive analysis and interview.First of all,the research based on the current situation of Geography in senior high school,Delivering questionnaires to the geography teachers of national first-line high schools.This paper summarizes and analyzes the problems from three aspects:Teachers’ basic information,cognitive level and practice development,to predicts the possible reasons for the insufficient cultivation of geographical practical ability at present.Secondly,using the method of literature analysis,this paper focuses on the evaluation index system of geographical practical power for classroom observation in classroom teaching,and evaluates it from three levels:geographical practical knowledge,geographical practical ability and geographical practical attitude.Then randomly select five ministerial high-quality courses for classroom video observation,based on ITIAS construct the classroom behavior coding system,built the teacher-student interaction behavior scale during classroom observation,and divide the teacher-student behavior into four parts:teacher speech,student speech,situation and technology for coding statistics and matrix analysis.Thirdly,the evaluation index of geography practical ability is associated with the video observation behavior data of high-quality courses to form the corresponding system of classroom behavior and geography practical ability index.Its advantages are summarized as follows:Group cooperative inquiry teaching mode based on students’Autonomous Learning;Pay attention to the creation of situations;The classroom teaching links are complete,and the practice and summary are complete and effective.The shortcomings are:Inquiry Learning lacks model innovation;Situation creation lacks deep and wide design;The utilization rate and level of information technology are low,which provides strategic guidance for the cultivation of geography practical ability in senior high school geography classroom teaching.Finally,the research puts forward the strategy of optimizing geography classroom teaching based on the breadth of geography practice:(1)Deep and wide classroom situation design to exercise geographical practical thinking;(2)Carry out classroom practice activities and create classroom practice opportunities;(3)Make full use of geographic information technology to assist teaching and simulate the geographical practice environment in the classroom;(4)Make use of the system of students’comments and test questions to carry out practical exploration in exercise classes and homework links.According to the implementation strategy,take the section of the new textbook "how to make the city no longer waterlogged" compiled by the people’s education edition as an example,carry out the teaching design and implementation,and revise it after class in combination with the interview opinions of the teachers,so as to form a mature lesson example of cultivating the practical ability of Geography in senior high school geography classroom teaching.
