In 2017,the Ministry of education revised the high school Chinese curriculum standards,which pointed out that the whole book reading as an important part of the learning task group,aims to help students construct the skills of reading the whole book,effectively cultivate the reading aesthetic and gradually improve the reading habits.The whole book reading can be described as a flash in the reform of Chinese teaching in middle school,but it is also a key and difficult point in Chinese teaching,which is worthy of research by experts and scholars.Unfortunately,combined with the current teaching situation of the whole book reading,teaching practice is more than practice.Many front-line Chinese teachers are still puzzled about how to accurately set the course objectives of "whole book reading",how to effectively promote the teaching practice of"whole book reading" in teaching,and how to evaluate and optimize "whole book reading" Confused.This paper first describes the concept of the whole book reading and the current challenges,which lay a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research.Next,Taking Dongguan No.5 senior high school as a pilot,this paper analyzes and explores the overall situation of Chinese Reading Teaching in senior high schools.Through the questionnaire filled out by teachers and students as the survey caliber,this paper explores the unsatisfactory points in the implementation of the whole book reading teaching at this stage,and classifies and summarizes these problems,,including the teachers' superficial exploration of the whole book reading,and the traditional teaching methods have killed the students' reading interest Interest and fraction only theory leads to students' difficulty in improving their reading ability and their lack of reading skills,which makes it impossible to achieve efficient reading of the whole book.Therefore,based on the analysis of the problems,this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the teaching situation.For example,teachers should plan to integrate the reading bibliography,set reading plans and stage goals for students,teach students valid reading means,keep pace with the times and innovate reading strategies,consider and balance reading activities from a macro perspective,and weigh students' reading interest Interest,pressure and acceptance.Finally,taking "the moon and Sixpence" as an example,this paper tests the effectiveness of reading strategies,and clarifies the specific guidance methods for reading the whole book in senior high school.The purpose of this paper is to provide a reference teaching mode for front-line teachers in the "whole book reading" practical teaching,change the current predicament of whole book reading,and make students'reading ability get substantial improvement.
