The whole book reading has an important influence on the growth of students.The quality of the whole book reading is directly related to the development of students' reading habits and the development of the entire book reading ability.At present,the study of the entire book reading teaching mainly focuses on the primary school,and the study of the entire book reading teaching strategy is not complete.The new curriculum standards have strengthened the emphasis on high school students' reading of the entire book,studied the teaching strategies of the whole book reading in high schools conform to the requirements of the new curriculum,can improve the quality of the whole book reading teaching in high school,and cultivate the whole book reading ability of high school students.The study of reading strategies in the entire high school book is still at an exploratory stage,and further exploration and research are still needed.Through the investigation and analysis of the whole book reading and the entire book reading teaching situation of students and teachers in ten typical high schools in Nantong City,it was found that high school students have the awareness of reading the entire book,and teachers are also making positive attempts to read the entire book.However,high school students still have problems in reading the whole book,such as lack of reading initiative,single type of reading books,arbitrariness of reading,low reading efficiency,etc.There is a problem with the entire book reading teaching in high schools.for example,teachers do not pay enough attention to the entire book reading teaching,and the content of reading teaching inappropriate selection,incorrectreading of teaching objectives,inappropriate teaching methods,etc.Collecting and collating the related viewpoints and analyzing the problems,the principle that the whole book reading teaching should follow: highlight the principle of the students as the main body of reading the whole book,the principle of cultivating students' reading ability of the whole book,and the principle of combining the whole book reading and teaching inside and outside class.This paper studies the basic strategies of reading teaching in high school and discusses the reading methods of different texts in the whole book.On the basis of the action research method,the whole book of "border city" reading teaching practice,reflecting the teaching practice,and improving the whole book reading teaching strategy of high school.The study of the whole book reading teaching in high schools in China is not specific enough and in-depth,The study of teaching strategies such as cultivating students' good reading habits,paying attention to“teaching”methods and teaching students reading methods,improving the entire book reading teaching evaluation method has certain application value in high school reading teaching.
