| Throughout the ages,countless literati and scholars have praised maternal love,feeling that maternal love is the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.High school Chinese textbooks focus on six mothers,namely Dayan River in Dayan River—My Nanny,Xianglin Sister in Blessing,Mother Jiao in Peacock Flying to the South,Cai Po-po in Dou E’s injustice,Fan Yi and Lu Shiping in Thunderstorm.In this paper,three mothers,Dayan River,Xianglin Sister and Lu Shiping are selected to analyze their image characteristics,the root causes of their tragic fate and educational value.The main part of the article is divided into three chapters,the first chapter mainly studies the image of the three suffering mothers,Summarizing the image characteristics of the three mothers,that is:sad and difficult,endure numbness,"true,good and beautiful" Dayan River;struggle with fate repeatedly failed,self-lost Xianglin sister;simple and kind,bony Lu Shiping.The second chapter analyzes the common features of Dayan River,Xianglin Sister and Lu Shiping,that is,the image of hardworking and kind-hearted women,the image of glorious mother who loves children,and the image of rural women who endure tenacity.The latter part of the second chapter mainly studies the causes of the suffering of the three mothers,namely,the persecution of feudal thought,the pressure of material deprivation,Character and fate.The third chapter explores the educational value of the image of the three mothers.The article explains the educational value of three mothers’ images from four aspects:moral education,intellectual education,aesthetic education and mental education.High school stage is the key period for the formation of students’ emotional attitude and values.Chinese teaching in high school not only plays an important role in cultural education,but also becomes an important position in moral education.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the image of mother and its educational value. |
