With the advancement and development of the curriculum reform of basic education,effective reading teaching is carried out in rural junior middle schools to improve students' reading ability and level,further expand students' horizons,and help students form healthy character,it has become the necessity of reading teaching reform in rural junior middle schools.But in fact,rural junior high school reading teaching is still in a relatively monotonous or even boring state,research and solve this problem is the responsibility of rural teachers.This study used the methods of Literature Research,investigation and case analysis to investigate the current situation of reading teaching in rural junior middle schools,in the investigation,we found that the main problems of students in reading are the weak sense of subject,the lack of good reading interest and reading habits,the lack of reading quantity,etc.The main problems in the teaching of reading are that the teachers pay too much attention to the test scores,the teaching methods of reading are single,and the teaching evaluation system is not perfect,paying attention to students as the main body of reading teaching,paying attention to the cultivation of students' reading interest and reading habit,paying attention to the cultivation of students' reading ability,changing the traditional examination idea,innovating the reading teaching method,and improving students' comprehensive ability,perfect teaching evaluation system,pay attention to the test of reading ability.Through this study,we try to further enrich the theoretical system of reading teaching,also hope to bring some inspiration to the front-line rural junior middle school Chinese teachers.
