The new round curriculum reform pays more attention to students’ comprehensive quality and the ability of knowledge integration and application of skills,which also puts forward new requirements to teachers’ teaching.Teachers now should develop overall consciousness and integrate the content of textbooks to form a complete teaching system of knowledge and practice.Chinese textbooks edited by the Ministry,attaching great importance to the cultivation of students’ core literacy of Chinese,are arranged in a two-line parallel pattern of both Chinese elements and humanistic themes to provide the basis for unit teaching.Based on the textbooks edited by the Ministry in Junior Middle School,this paper tries to understand the current situation of unit teaching,find and analyze problems through questionnaires for teachers and students and provide unit teaching strategies for front-line teachers for reference.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reason for choosing the topic,research overview,research significance and research methods.The second part is an overview of relevant theories of unit teaching.This part discusses the connotation of unit teaching,points out its characteristics of integration,independence and sequence as well as the role of unit teaching played in improving classroom efficiency,teaching quality and students’ literacy.The third part discusses the unit characteristics of the junior middle school Chinese textbooks edited by the Ministry,namely the unit structure in a two-line parallel pattern,the trinity reading system and the content structure of reading and writing integration.The fourth part is the analysis of the current situation of unit teaching in junior middle school in China.This part points out the problems of inaccurate unit teaching objectives,unreasonable arrangement of unit teaching contents and unit teaching objectives focusing on results rather than process through a questionnaire survey and then analyzes the possible reasons for the problems above.The fifth part is about teaching design and implementation strategy of the junior middle school Chinese textbooks edited by the Ministry and this part will be elaborated from four aspects.The first aspect is to clarify the unit teaching objectives,which can be started from three perspectives: clarifying the unit positioning,analyzing the commonality and individuality of the units,and understanding the characteristics of students;the second aspect is to integrate the teaching contents of units,which consists of building a trinity reading system,an integrated system of reading and writing in class and paying attention to the unit integration of comprehensive learning.The third aspect is to construct the unit teaching strategy,through unit preview,unit designs of main tasks and task designs in later stage of class.The fourth aspect is to optimize the unit teaching evaluation,pay attention to the learning process,optimize the evaluation method,enrich the main body of the unit,and improve the evaluation reliability.
