There are various inheritance ways of culture, from of which, literals is the most effective. For the future of our motherland and contemporary junior high school students, reading training is the most effective and direct way to transfer. It not only improves students’ reading ability, but also cultivates students’ writing ability. Therefore, reading teaching carries out important responsibilities.This thesis investigates the current situation of contemporary literature reading teaching in junior high school to find the existing problems and solution ways basing on the analysis of survey. In order to grasp the most accurate data, the thesis mainly uses the questionnaires to find the truly situation of students and teachers.For the reason that there are too many primary and junior middle schools, the author can not survey from big sample census. So Changchun 108 Middle School is chosen to be the database, which reveals several sever problems.For one thing, teachers’ method of teaching is humdrum. Most of teachers can not get rid away from traditional teaching mode, making the course monotonous and boring.Secondly, students are lack of interest of independent reading, but full of utility. Most of students ignore the fascination and purpose of reading.From the investigation to Changchun 108 Middle School, the author masters practical situations and gets some solutions to existing problems.
