In 2017,Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as "NCSs")was officially promulgated.The NCSs for Chinese core literacy can be summarized into four aspects: the construction and application of language,the development and quality of thinking,the inheritance and comprehension of cultures,as well as the aesthetic appreciation and creation.Based on the summary of the core accomplishment of Chinese subject in the new curriculum standard,the teaching of classical poetry has encountered unprecedented difficulties.Many front-line teachers have neither fully realized the profound significance of classical poetry teaching,nor mastered the coping strategies of classical poetry teaching in the context of the new curriculum standards.Therefore,the research object of this paper falls on the coping strategies of classical poetry teaching on the background of new curriculum standards.Five parts constitute this paper :The first part is introduction,which briefly illustrates the research background,purposes and the significance of the research on the classical poetry teaching with the guide of the NCSs in Zhejiang province.It is of great necessity in many aspects to study high-school classical poetry teaching under the background of the NCSs.Meanwhile,the author compares the domestic researches on this aspect in different viewpoints and directions as well as the author 's research methods.The second part mainly focuses on the overview of classical poetry and the interpretation of the NCSs.The author describes the definition and characteristics of classical poetry,the connotation of classical poetry teaching,the teaching significance of high school classical poetry based on the core quality of Chinese subject,as well as the requirements of classical poetry teaching in high schools from NCSs.In the third part,the author investigates and analyzes the current situation of classical poetry teaching in high schools on the background of NCSs in Zhejiang province.The purpose of the pre-test and analysis is to see whether the teaching effect of high-school classical poetry under the background of the new curriculum standard really helps to improve the students' core quality of Chinese subject.In the fourth part,the author tries to find out the coping strategies of classical poetry teaching in high schools on the background of the NCSs.As for the students from the perspective of learning,they should seize the opportunity to stimulate the passion of learningpoetry,develop good habits overtime and explore actively and upgrade their learning methods.As for the teachers from the perspective of teaching,they should renew their views and improve their professional quality,have a good preparation of lessons and set clear teaching objectives,use varieties of teaching methods to put forward some new ideas and integrate teaching materials into teaching contents,while breaking through the stereotypes to set up varieties of classes and brainstorming to develop school-based selective courses.The fifth part mainly displays the effect of classical poetry teaching on the background of the NCSs and the reflection on them.The author briefly accounts the achievements made by teachers and students in Huzhou High School in recent years,and reflects on the fact that the teaching purpose of classical poetry should not be limited in the Chinese class in senior school but should be extended to the daily life,which provides great help to cultivate the students' core quality of Chinese subject as well as to their future.
