Effective extra-curricular counseling emphasizes that in limited time and space,it is a deeper stage of extra-curricular counseling form to carry out efficient learning and counseling activities by teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,and carrying out teaching activities different from school forms in the light of the contents learned in schools and the examination syllabus published by the national education administration department.Effective extra-curricular guidance is a necessary supplement and extension of classroom teaching in schools.It is an important link to face all students,teach students in accordance with their aptitude,complement short boards for students with learning difficulties and promote the development of personality of students with special abilities.It is also an important means to implement educational and teaching objectives and improve teaching quality.Effective extracurricular counseling is relative to "inefficient" or "ineffective" extracurricular counseling.The improvement of its effect must be based on the guidance of certain teaching and learning theories.Otherwise,it will take a detour or a wrong way because it violates the law of education.From the perspective of self-efficacy theory,effective extra-curricular counseling is not only the internal reflection oflearners' self-efficacy,but also the inevitable result of educators' effective stimulation of learners' self-efficacy.From the perspective of humanistic learning theory,effective extra-curricular counseling strategy has the characteristics of humanism,effectiveness and value,and its application in practice must be student-centered and pay attention to students' inner world.From the perspective of constructivist learning theory,students do not simply receive information passively,but actively construct knowledge.Extracurricular counseling plays an auxiliary role in the educational system.Its purpose is to help students move from passive learning to self-construction,which is the most important part of extracurricular counseling.Efficient extra-curricular counseling is popular all over the world.In the United States,the main characteristics of efficient extracurricular counseling are as follows: strong support from the government,positive attitude from the society and extensive participation of volunteers;in Korea,the basic experience of forming high efficiency of extracurricular counseling is: large scale of student participation,great temptation of extracurricular counseling,diversification of the shape of the class;in Japan,efficient extracurricular counseling has a strong learning atmosphere,standardization of remedial services,teachers.The level of capital is guaranteed.The universal law of effective extra-curricular counseling abroad is: driven by competition for further education,traction of diverse needs and effective support from the government.In order to deeply understand people's understanding of efficient extracurricular counseling,a questionnaire survey was conducted and the following conclusions were drawn: Firstly,effective extracurricular counseling has formed a certain social consensus and become a common pursuit of parents,teachers,students and other stakeholders of extracurricular counseling,but people's understanding of its connotation is only for performance,and the respondents are facing the question of "what is efficient?" 60.83% of the respondents chose "extracurricular counseling with high learning efficiency per unit time".Secondly,students generally participate,but the appropriate group is only a minority.54.17% of the respondents think that "middle-class students" are more suitable for extra-curricular counseling.Thirdly,the market consumption is large,but the service effect is not ideal.54.17%of the people think that teachers are "dull in language and dull in class";66.67% think that teachers are "dull and lack of passion";47.5% think that they are "poor in expression and confused in logic";45.83% think that "poor in skills and narrow in knowledge" is the fourth,which has a certain impact,but deepening reform is imperative,56.67%.The respondents chose to "agree with the renewal of the concept of extracurricular counseling".To form an effective after-school counseling,we need to adopt a multi-pronged strategy.Strategies to improve students' self-efficacy include hierarchical teaching,attribution training and model demonstration.In the aspect of establishing student-centered teaching strategies,we can create an open and appropriate learning environment,create learning situations that help students to show themselves,actively carry out student-centered classroom discussions,and give full play to student-centered teaching.Teachers can regulate and stimulate students' learning by giving full play to students-centered evaluation and incentive functions.In the construction of students' active learning strategies,students' learning involvement can be enhanced by creating an atmosphere,stimulating interest,providing opportunities,and guiding learning methods.
