As a comprehensive index system used to evaluate students' learning behavior tendencies and learning psychological characteristics,"Approaches to Learning" summarizes and defines the learning attitudes,learning habits,learning abilities and learning literacy displayed by students throughout their learning,whose core value orientation and fundamental purpose are consistent with the Key Competencies system for students to develop.the cultivation and development of Pupils' Approaches to Learning is the due pursuit of teaching goals,and also the key support to promote and implement the Key Competencies education goals.However,in contrast to the current basic education stage,the teaching conditions for the cultivation of Pupils' Approaches to Learning are not satisfactory.knowledge instillation,behavior control,personality erasure,and training are still existed.Therefore,in the actual classroom,find out the status of Pupils' Approaches to Learning and the current situation of teaching cultivation behind it,and then put forward specific teaching strategies for the cultivation of Pupils' Approaches to Learning through attribution analysis and comprehensive discussion,which will provide practical reference and cases for the teaching cultivation of Pupils' Approaches to Learning.In this study,the “Questionnaire for Pupils' Approaches to Learning” was firstly used to investigate and measure the level of psychological characteristics of the Approaches to Learning of 247 students in grades 4-6.Secondly,using the "Classroom Behavioral Checklist for Pupils' Approaches to Learning",the class observations and assessments of 230 students in grades 1-6 were carried out at the level of behavioral tendencies of the Approaches to Learning;Finally,the "Teaching Support Evaluation Scale for the Cultivation of Approaches to Learning" was used to conduct an investigation and evaluation of the teaching status among 23 teachers.In addition,from a qualitative perspective,by interviews,this study also explored teachers' teaching concepts,teaching design,and related education and teaching methods and measures,and so on,which adopted in the cultivation of Pupils' Approaches to Learning.The study found that: First,the level of psychological characteristics of Pupils' Approaches to Learning is higher,but the level of behavioral tendency is lower.Second,the status of teaching activities failed to match the subjective developmental needsof Pupils' internal learning psychology,and could not provide the necessary psychological guarantee for the subjective development of Pupils' Approaches to Learning.Thirdly,the status of teaching environment cannot meet the objective externalization requirements of Pupils' Approaches to Learning,and cannot provide sufficient material conditions and foundation for the development of Pupils' Approaches to Learning.Fourth,there is a certain deviation between teachers' perception and understanding of the Approaches to Learning.Fifth,teachers' sense of responsibility for cultivating Pupils' Approaches to Learning is not strong enough,and their tasks are unclear.Based on the above findings,this study proposes strategies for cultivating Pupils' Approaches to Learning in teaching from the five aspects: deepening the cognition and understanding of the connotation,characteristics and values of Approaches to Learning;grasping the subjective psychological needs and objective behavior rules of the development of Pupils' Approaches to Learning;Strengthen the correlation between teaching design and Pupils' Approaches to Learning;highlighting the initiative of the Pupils and clarifying the content of home-school cooperation and the obligations and responsibilities of both parties in the process of cultivating Pupils' Approaches to Learning.
