Biology is a natural subject closely related to human life.Under the active advocacy of the new curriculum concept on strengthening the connection between reality and life,biology teaching practice pays more attention to the disconnection between education and actual life,advocating life-oriented teaching.By using literature analysis,I know that the key measure for realizing life-oriented teaching is to update the existing curriculum resources.Currently,the off-campus curriculum resources are shortcomings and weak areas in curriculum resource development.Therefore,in order to truly realize life-oriented teaching,we must develop and use the off-campus courses resources.This article studies from this perspective.The study takes the development of off-campus curriculum resources in Yuncheng,Shanxi as an example.Through interviews with teachers and questionnaire survey of students in Yuncheng,I really understand the current situation that the biology curriculum resources outside the local school is not fully developed,the awareness is not in place,and the application is unscientific.In order to improve this problem,this study tapped the available extracurricular resources of junior middle school biology in Yuncheng,wrote relevant teaching cases and conducted a three-month educational experiment.Based on the pre-test results,I determine the experimental class and control class.I integrate extracurricular resources to teach experimental classes,while using conventional teaching resources to teach the control classes.From the differencesbetween the mid-term and late-term paper-and-pencil testscores,students 'classroom performance,and questions related to life-oriented teaching,it can be concluded that we can develop the local off-campus curriculum resources and embed them into the junior middle school biology teaching by way of teaching cases.The result indicates that it can not only improve the students' learning interests and their academic performance,but also comprehensively promote the process of biological life-oriented teaching.Yuncheng was selected as a specific area for the development of extracurricular curriculum resources,which highlights the advantages,necessity,and pertinence of the development of extracurricular curriculum resources under daily life-oriented teaching.It makes certain theoretical and practical significance for establishing a biology curriculum resource library,enriching the content of biology classroom teaching,improving the teaching quality and the teachers' professionalism.
