As a gathering place for senior talents,universities are also one of the first choice positions for overseas students.The professional happiness of young teachers in colleges and universities is not only closely related to the personal professional development of teachers,but also a key factor related to the healthy growth of students' minds.At present,teachers in colleges and universities are faced with many kinds of pressures,such as teaching,scientific research and title election.Young returnees teachers are also faced with environmental adaptation and coping with domestic changes,so it is necessary to study the professional happiness of young returnees teachers.In this study,young teachers from universities affiliated to Shanghai who have returned from overseas are taken as the research objects.Questionnaires and interviews are mainly adopted to understand the status of professional happiness of young teachers from universities affiliated to Shanghai who have returned from overseas and analyze the influencing factors.Finally,appropriate improvement measures and suggestions are proposed based on relevant data and interview results.On the whole,the professional happiness level of young returnees teachers in Shanghai universities is relatively high.There was no significant effect on the occupational happiness index in gender.The duration of studying abroad has little influence on their career happiness,and the mean value is not significantly different.Marital status,annual income,professional title and working hours all have influence on their career happiness.The career happiness of young returnees teachers is influenced by cultural differences,namely,cultural adaptation,scientific research,the academic system of the country where they study and the domestic academic field.The change of teachers' roles and the difference of teaching methods are also the main influencing factors,and the key is the subjective initiative of young returnees teachers.This study puts forward appropriate suggestions to improve the professional happiness of young returnees teachers in Shanghai from three aspects: teachers themselves,university management and social factors.
